Location is close to Celebration Park, Coligny Plaza and the beach. The last night the swim in movie was good, and the first time the hotel seemed to care about guest experience.

We were not informed beforehand this hotel had major construction during our stay. The steel beems for the new front entrance were installed the week of our stay. Lovely noises all week. Fire alarms went off 5 times one morning. Pool was closed for inspections. Stern looking managers making all effort to keep things running. Building Inspectors… Trucks… forklifts, mason saws at 10 am. Vacation? Why is this hotel even open? Please excuse the renovations? Booking.com nor IHG made any disclaimer about the construction. Also, the building lacked any security. For example, on the last night we had a security guard ask to see a key, yet for the past week we’d been walking through propped open doors to the elevator with crews mixed with tourists. In other words, no primary security, no rules. Just major construction mixed with tourists. Someone could have walked up to our room no problem. Plus with construction crews all around it was messy, chaotic and confusing. All around a surprise we had to make the best of. As the week went on I became accustomed to it but kept watching everyone experience the same. We kept the kids close due to cars and construction equipment and those golf carts that kept parking in the garages making access to the parking spots tight. Those were the people in charge of completing renovations instead of running a resort hotel.

Price was too high compared to amenities. There were small large roaches and bugs in the rooms. Please do some pest control in the rooms.

Breakfast bathroom was filthy with toilet paper and towels all full outside the trash can. Not a good thing to view to begin enjoying vacation.

Front desk person name Sonnia was so rude and unpolite when I check in ..housekeeping didn’t clean my room the first day and the second day after I tell them to clean just clean the trash.. why they charge fee for resort.??? We have to pay for the umbrella and chair at the beach!!!! And walk … I will never comeback!!!

The balcony has water that come from the AC imposible to be outside. Later I ask for extra towels and coffee and they just live the extra stuff outside of my room like I was in jail
