It was close to where the family I was visiting lives.

I could not have a handy cap room. At 85 years old i need more grab bars in the shower and a tall toilet seat. I walk with a cane yet no one came out to help me unload the car or when I left there was no one to help. The breakfast was difficult for me to get, I needed three trips , one to get drinks one to get a hot drink and one to fill my plate and carry it back to the table. For the money I paid for a poorly lit room and the lack of service I grossly over paid.

Our bathroom sink was clogged with hair, yuk! The handle on the sink faucet kept falling off. The tub is cracked and the shower head only had one decent spray. This place needs a total renovation on the bathroom.

Good area

We have stayed here a number of times. We use it as a stopover when traveling from Ohio to the Outer Banks. The location is great. We stop here after a 10-hour drive, and then we get up early the next morning to get to the OBX. We've always found the staff to be friendly and welcoming. The rooms are clean and there is the typical space you'd expect in a hotel like this. There are several restaurants directly around the hotel so it's easy to find a place to eat. We'll come back next year for sure.

The only minor gripe is that the room air conditioner was quite loud, but those units are just naturally loud. There's not too much that can be done about it. We didn't feel it was the hotel's fault.

Hospitality was awesome. Staff always had a smile and very helpful.

I requested housekeeping everyday of my stay. That Friday all I needed was to pick up my towels and give me clean ones for one room and clean the other room. Was not done. Next day Ms Rita took great care of us. Thank you to Ms Rita

I always appreciate the convenience of location.
