My review is based on a previous stay here, not on the current non-stay because when I got to check in for this stay, I was met with some unusual last minute circumstances. BUT I have only great things to say about the way the receptionist (Jeannie) and then the Manager (Ms. Jellison) handled my particular circumstance. They offered me a full refund for something that was not their fault! That is the mark of true customer service and I am extremely grateful.
From my previous stay I can tell you there are two pools to enjoy, there is an outdoor restaurant on site (but it closes at 8 pm) the bar portion stays open later than 8.

They allowed us to check out early and are issuing us a refund that we are waiting on receiving. The lady was very nice and understanding of how we just weren’t comfortable there. She gave no hassles
Our first room had soft spots in the floor. There was a dirty sick left in the room from the last renters. The tables were dirty when we went down to breakfast. We actually came home a day early from vacation because we just couldn’t get comfortable there

Check in. The pool was ok.
The room was noisy. Someone in the room above us paced the floor throughout the night. This occurred from 1:00 AM to 4:00 AM. This prevented us from being able to fall to sleep. We were on the first level. The ceiling seemed really thin and didn't block out the noise. When I complained to the front desk during checkout, I was disappointed in their response. The person at the front desk blamed us for not calling the front desk. She didn't even seem to care. She showed no empathy. I told her I thought it was a structural issues with the ceiling not stopping the noise. She again blamed me for not calling the front desk to report it. I felt, as a customer, totally disrespected by this person at the front desk.

outdoor swimming pool. indoor pool at night was dark and not sure if clean as you couldn’t see the bottom of the pool. stars on a clear night are beautiful! love that it is surrounded by trees and in a very quite place.
it was old and not up to date, didn’t seem clean.

The bathroom was quite dirty and covered in hair. The shower barely worked and the tub looks very damaged as well as the ceiling above it. Our sink was clogged and filled with water when washing our hands.
