Nothing went well.

One star is gratuitous, along with a laundry list of things, here are some. Rooms smelled. Reservation wasn't as planned. Broken hot tub. Smelled like pot everywhere. No hot water. Vending machines barely had anything in it. Breakfast items were missing, as in you can make waffles but there's no syrup, things floating in the apple juice said there was no towels available because they were washing them all. Fridge wasn't cold, hair dryer didn't work. Called down to the front desk to let them know and they blew me off and said they couldn't do anything till management and maintenance got there. No other rooms to move us to, not able to get a room anywhere else because of a convention. Was there 2 nights, 2 rooms. Family of 7. Family bin one of the rooms picked up head lice!! Not worth the trouble. Tried to fix it with management, no one was around. Someone just told me to leave the keys on the counter and bolted before I could talk to them .

The price was good. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel was quite.

Pool seemed to be down for maintenance, and the biscuits were really hard. Sausage links were not great.

The night staff was fun. Obviously an older building, but our room was clean, everything worked, and the desk staff was great. Breakfast was good.

Just old, could use a pick me up…. Also, I hate firm beds, but my husband loved it! So… I am obviously a princess and desire to feel the pea because the mattress is too soft… that was not these beds

filthy, torn carpet, worn out tub, just overall unbelievably run down. pathetic breakfast, bugs in the bed! chrome tub faucets were absolutely disgusting. don’t believe the faucets has been even wiped down for months. bathroom door needs replaced. etc etc

Only one lamp in the room and was not enough the room was dark and we had to use our camping lamps to get more light.

The first room I was I. The screen was torn and had been out, could not lock window. Traveling alone I did not feel safe. The receptionist was very nice and told her I was not staying in that room. She assigned me another room on the second floor. The floors were not vacuumed, there was mold on the tub. Such an in unpleasant experience. Location was questionable for safety. The walls were filthy.

Breakfast wasn't too bad. Friendly staff.

There weren't enough towels for swimming and bathing. No ice machine on the floor. Only three small pillows for a queen bed. No clock in the room. Internet on TV wasn't working correctly on second day. Took a while to get it fixed.

It was my daughter's college graduation and we had no hot water for 2 days. I told them about it the first day. So after my stay they offered to give me a refund. I spoke to the manager Alahna she said she would be able to give me a 50.00 Refund then I found out she didn't even put in a request for it. Then I spoke to someone else and they said the same thing but instead of giving me 50.00 like they said they actually took 50.00 out of my account. It took me 5 days to get my money back plus the 50.00 the promised me. This all took a total of over 3 weeks to get it fixed. I stay there every time I go to Topeka but it is definitely the last time. We stayed on May 13 and 14.

The staff was friendly and the beds comfortable.

The location was a little dark and could use a few updates.

I liked the counter person Amber (Tiana) who had recently joined the Quality Inn Team. Amber was friendly and helpful. A staff member must stand out for me to remember their name. The other team members were pleasant as well. The room was very comfortable.

No complaints. This lodging earned its name of Quality Inn.
