the location was close to almost anything, the price was very good and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

it needs a little fix or two. our bed was slanted, the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling and the pillows were flat and hard.

The price was very affordable. The room was good.

When we checked in there were many guys from a fishing tournament and the traffic in the hall and in and out the outside door was excessive.

When we reported that the room had fleas or some other small insect, it was thoroughly cleaned. It had previously been occupied by a homeless person we were told. Seems like it should have been thoroughly cleaned BEFORE rented out to tourists who drove all the way from Washington State...or any tourist for that matter.

No breakfast though it was promised in the listing. OK, so no room for social distancing but rolls and coffee could have been available.

The floor slopes so the head of the bed goes down hill. The love seat should have been thrown out years ago. The view out the window is a privacy fence about 4 to 5 feet away. I guess this is what you get at an old place. I just won't do it again.

Everything was clean and adequate. We were not in the room except for sleeping and left fairly early in the morning.

Room was musty smelling upon entrance but after putting on air conditioning the smell no longer was noticeable.

No breakfast and I’m sure there wasn’t a reduction in our room rate as a result. No in room coffee. Bar provided was of very low quality.

The interior is much nicer than the exterior. The beds were Ok. The TV was OK although the picture didn't fit the screen...? Plenty of towels but no where to hang them.

Sign outside still says they offer breakfast, which they do not. Garbage in a bucket outside door was not cleaned out for the two days we were there. The ice machine did not work properly. The price was too high for the room. The wallpaper was peeling off the wall in bathroom and one other minor place (it was just white paper? odd, I thought.) We made reservations a couple days ahead (yes, that's late for the popularity of Minocqua), so we could visit our kids that were camping a few miles away, and at least the owner let me view the room before "buying" it. The exterior landscaping was nonexistent, and all it really needed were a few cubic yards of colored stone and some weeding around the property sign. And some stain on the building. Be aware that it is located at one of the busiest intersections in Minocqua, and during the summer, it is noisy...just turn on the air conditioning that was a bit tricky to adjust, and not clean inside the A/C grill, to drown out most of the noise except motorcycles. It is just not the standard we have come to expect in Minocqua and will never return. In fact, Minocqua is becoming too "touristy" for us...too busy...and noisy and rushed... isn't that why most people come to the north woods... to get away from that city life?
