Location can’t be beat. You are literally across the street from the beach. In a very quaint little area of Cape Cod.
The response from the staff. The limitations on privacy in the rooms. When you text someone to get something extra from the front desk no one responds until the next day. There were people in the parking lot outside doing donuts until 11 PM. There was a storm door that was broken in the hallway. It seem like every single smoke detector in the hotel needed to have batteries replaced. Just a lot of things that could’ve been taken care of if somebody was on site.

nice location, close to beach. easy check in. curb appeal. nice neighborhood. reasonable rate.
beds comfy.
dated bathroom, small small rooms. breakfast bad even with low expectations - pop tarts, commercial granola bars, mealy apples. coffee only in room and my maker didn’t heat the water enough.

Room was so small we could barely move, coffee maker in the closet?? really??? Mattress very uncomfortable and extremely overpriced. Could hear neighbors. Continental breakfast was a joke, stale pastries and rotten fruit.

Location was good for access to downtown and beach. Breakfast was minimal for price of room

We liked the spaciousness of the room, the thoughtfulness of supplies in the room and the value.

bad
crummy bars and fruit left on a table - I didn't eat any of it

Location is the saving grace of Seadar. The property is grassy and pleasant and there is lots of outdoor seating. The beach is next to the property and downtown is within easy walking distance.
My major concern is inability to reach, or even see, a human employee during my stay. I was initially trying to enter the wrong room and the keypad wouldn’t work. No one was on site and I couldn’t reach anyone by phone or text to help. I finally found my room and was able to enter. Afterward, a text was sent each day asking if we needed anything and asking us to text when we left. Breakfast was a few packaged items in the lobby and some fresh fruit and yogurt. (During a previous stay, breakfast was offered in a dining room.) Again, no one was visible. One property concern is that the carpet on the stairs of my small building has a really musty, moldy smell and needs to be replaced. I realize that finding help is really difficult right now and a local told me that the inn has recently changed hands. This gives me hope that Seadar will improve.

Very close to the beach.
Rooms were very small. I have stayed in rooms in NYC and Tokyo and this was by far the most uncomfortable I have been in a room. Although I was traveling with a 1 year old.

It was clean and the staff was responsive and friendly
Room was tiny and the bathroom and shower even smaller. Shower was about 3x3.

staff quickly responded to text requests for towels, pillow and coffee. great location. easy key pad access to room
room: no chair for sitting; wooden pole for closet;toiletries sub par, no tissues; exposed dangling wires from tv and window air conditioner; rust on small fridge; broken shutters.

Location was terrific. Just a few short steps to the beach. Clean room. Quiet atmosphere even over a pretty crowded weekend. Very relaxing.
Thought fri/Sat night price was expensive but fair as the Inn was crowded. Sun/Monday rate should be lower as the Inn was pretty empty and the price difference was only $25 less. Kitchen needs a few more items to make it more functional. Non stick pans, forks (only 2), etc

The room was way too small for a king bed. The dresser drawers were quite difficult to open or close, the bathroom door did not close. The two steps up to the porch were difficult to navigate when using a cane to walk and there were no railings for safety.
It was close to the beach

Loved the location . Close to shopping and dining and the cape is steps away. The staff was friendly and accommodating . The beds were comfortable. It was a nice homey vibe. The price isn’t bad considering the location. It is well kept.clean towels and bedding. Parking available and guests were friendly
The cleaning could have been a little deeper in the bathrooms, which was terribly outdated . No tissues. The blanket on the bed was paper thin. The rooms were small and the bathroom was soooo tiny. The cleaning lady failed to return to clean one day. I didn’t see an iron or hair dryer.

It was a great stay and I appreciated the “quaintness” if your inn. But it was noisy. First, there was the toddler upstairs running around constantly. Heard every step. And then on the other side of the wall, there must have been a chronic smoker from all the coughing he did. And I heard every cough…all night long. Would love to stay at your inn again but would be a bit choosier on the room. Thank you.

Ease of getting to town and to the beach
No breakfast due to Covid

There was no breakfast. Just vouchers for a nearby convenience store.
Everything! It was a BEDroom up rickety stairs from the office. There was no place to sit except on the bed which took up the whole room. The bathroom was a postage stamp. You could sit on the toilet while brushing your teeth. One of the worst places I've ever stayed.

Location
Walls were very thin. And I could hear EVERYTHING happening my neighbors room - from their morning alarm to their conversations to their electric toothbrush! It was loud.

When I booked this place I didn’t read the reservation close enough so it is completely my fault, but I would never stay here again, nor will I use booking.com in the future. I checked in on Saturday, had to move to a new room on Monday, another one on Wednesday, another one on Thursday, and another one on Friday. It gave me the opportunity to see the variety of rooms that Seadar Inn offers. The last and final room was a “superior king”. There was nothing superior about it in my mind. The bathroom was a tiny stand up shower that was very dated. Out of the many rooms I stayed in there was only one room that was bright and beautiful. The rest were dated and dingy. The location was amazing, but there are plenty of other places in this area.

Rooms a little small but worth the price

Location. Staff was cool. Left front door open late. No nonsense check-in and check-out. Parking was fine. Grounds are beautiful. Lobby smells good and is clean.
Air conditioner had black mold spores inside duct. Bathroom caulking job was horrible. Water temp valve in shower is garbage. A/C outlet in bathroom non-functional. Pricey, even for location and peak season. Everything else was fine.

We were looking for something close to the beach. And this one is. For our case all we want was a bed at the beach. And that’s what it is. No extras
Sooo small.

I was late for my check-in and the staff and management went above and beyond to accommodate me. Great location just a 5 minute walk to the water. So cozy and cute

Location and easy check in!
Didn't know upon booking that I was changing rooms after 1 night! Went from very satisfied with the first room to a disaster of a room the second night, most likely the worst of all the rooms there to offer! Stay away from room 22.

No continental breakfast, AC noisy.

So close to the beach. Room was clean.
Bed was uncomfortable. Too small. Didn’t like the location of the room. Floorboards need replacing. No breakfast, but gift cards an ok replacement. Too pricey for what was offered.

parking
Small room. Tiny bathroom. No breakfast. No maid service. No working A/C. No ocean view or access. No sound proofing. No reliable TV service. . A camp site would be a step up.
