Very attractive hotel. Multiple restaurants, close to interstate. Booked at this hotel as they were hosting a 3 day poker tournament. Staff was cordial. I did not use the pool, so cannot review that.

Check in time was 4 pm and I was checking in at 4:30 pm. When checking in was told room was not yet available. Don't know if this was intentional as the clerk offered an upgrade for an extra $20 per night. Was pressed for time as I was attending an event so agreed to upgrade. Went to room and dropped off belongings. Came back to room later that night. Used bathroom and toilet seemed to have a hard time flushing. Woke up next morning and used toilet and would not flush. On the way down to breakfast alerted staff, who stated would take a look. Came back to room a few hours later and noticed a heater next to toilet. Left room to attend all day event, used bathroom in lobby and came back late in the evening to find heater still there and toilet not working. Went down to lobby as had been using that restroom, and no one at the front desk. Unfortunately, had to use the bathroom at around 1:30 am and had to go down to the Lobby. Upon checkout spoke with Manager Jeff who was made aware of the situation. Jeff understood the inconvenience and comped the room and gave a voucher for a one night stay in the future. That is why I gave a poor rating, as I felt we should have been moved to another room the next morning when reporting the issue. The hotel is VERY nice, the staff is nice. I just felt it could have been handled differently.

I like that the room was clean and smells clean and spacious. The indoor water park was a great bonus!!! I just wish that there's no additional fee for the tube slide and lazy river for guest that are staying in the hotel.

I hope they have continental breakfast for staying guests. I wish they would replace loud/noisy airconditioning units, it always wakes us up during our sleep. Not enough water inflatables in the swimming area. We basically need to wait for a while for somebody to give up their inflatable for others to use. Lots of deflated floaties are lying on the side and not fixed so others can use it.

The baby pool wasn’t up and running and there was still people in it and in the water park we took our daughter in it anyways but it was cold we have been there before and it’s been warm, this time no and I’ve heard from multiple people that this has happened and they close the pool early sometimes if not enough people also the hot tub was not even hot it felt like a warm bath and the jets weren’t working, everything is so dated in the rooms other than that it was an okay stay but I don’t think we will be going back their is another water park not that far away from Grand Forks that we will be going to next time.

closeness to the venue

the bed closest to the door had two metal pieces sticking out. me and my wife both hit it with our ankles. for a room to cost $300 should not have anything sticking out to hurt the customer. I did take a picture of the issue and showed the check out lady but all she said was sorry

Very convenient for a concert in the alerus center, large waterpark and clean rooms.

They hold a 100-dollar charge in case anything breaks and all I did was sleep in my room and did not receive my money back. I have tried to contact them and never received and explanation.

That it's connected to the event center. And great hot tub.

Not being aware till we arrived that some of the waterpark would be an additional charge. Paint on mural in kids room was chipping.
