I stay there every two weeks for work

The bed was like sleeping on a board. Kids were running around long after 10 pm. Didn't sleep well.

Room was clean and comfortable.
Website says pet friendly but when I arrived with my cats in crates I was told they would have to stay in the car because they only allowed dogs. It was disappointing because I let them know when I made my reservation. They said since I made the reservation through Booking.com they didn't see that until I arrived. That is hard to believe since I had responses from other hotels on the same issue I booked through Booking com.

Didn’t use
One of the requests we had at time of booking was a 1st floor room because of mobility issues. Nope, couldn’t get! Get into our room, and found a DIRTY towel hanging in bathroom. Did report it, and took picture. Whenever the toilet was used, there was an extreme foul odor, because of improper ventilation. There was only 1 washcloth left with towels.Fridge did not work. 2nd floor was extremely noisy, late evening,early morning.
We have stayed at AmericInn’s numerous times, as it be is our go to when traveling. But if ever in Alexandria,Mn again, will not stay.

Breakfast was surprisingly good! My kids are picky eaters and they loved the waffles. The pool was great as well.

Breakfast was good, they had good choices. The location is great, having Target so close to pick up forgotten items for my trip was great.
The wifi was down the whole night and continued to be down in the morning.

Location is good - close to target and other shopping places.
Rotting food found in refrigerator, bathtub no clean, ran out of toilet paper - no more tools in the room anywhere. No hooks out side bathroom to hang anything. Small holes in drapery. Very loud air conditioner.
