There were rooms available.
attitude, the toilet wouldn't go down when first getting to the room and I was handed a plunger to deal with it myself. TV is barely watchable due to horrible reception because all that's offered is whatever the antenna on the roof pulls in. Couldn't get an extra towel unless I handed in the one I had first. Absolutely no late checkout unless you pay a minimum of $20 per hour and here's the real turn off, finding out this place rents their rooms on an hourly basis as well. Nothing like family fun prostitution.

The room was good for the price I paid. I am not rating super high or low because I spent very little time there, it was just a place to crash at night
The room had an odd smell. Kind of musty.

For my purposes, the location was adequate. That was the best part.
Absolutely filthy. A large hole in the shower, exposed wires in the wall, lights that didn't function, the bed was horribly hard. The bed looked clean, but literally every surface was disgusting. Stains all over the doors, stains all over the lamp shades, filth on top of filth. Disgusting.

The location was great. The room was good and I enjoyed my stay.
The faucet in the bathroom was hard to turn on and it took the water to get hot for a minute or so. Also, there was a cockroach in the bathroom.

There was a bed bug in my room.

The bathroom was clean
It was not in a very safe area. The rooms were not good, the ceiling looked like it was going to fall on us, it smelled like moth balls to the point it gave us headaches, the curtains were falling off the windows and it was the cheapest room around but it shows it was awful

Rooms had roachs and I had to clean the room. No hot water at all .

Location, availability, and convenience.
I avoid any motels or inns that have a deposit, that's why I picked this motel. I already spent $1,270.79 on this place this month alone, and today when we were checking in I was charged a $50.00 deposit fee, for the first time! Thank you, as the receptionist said, for tonight she will not charge us, but next time the $50.00 deposit fee, will be applied. Well, there will be no more next time. Thank you to the other receptionists that did not charge me that deposit fee. Next time includes the fee where the tax percentages rates are, so it will be clear to other customers.

Hardwood floors, pet-friendly, great price, the AC was on before we arrived to cool the room. The king-size bed is comfortable, large room.

It was pretty much as expected from a Motel 6 down the shore. Does the job for someone just looking to stay a night or two as a cheap or last minute option.
There was still someone in the original room we were given when we got there, and then the new room we were given smelled strongly of cigarettes.

There was No coffee maker in the room. No hook in the bathroom therefore no place to put anything. No tissues, no hot cups if you wanted a hot drink
Soap holder in tub is so high a small person can’t reach it.

I liked the free parking and the proximity to multiple beaches.
The motel was like a den of illegal activity. I definitely suggest you don’t bring a family with young children here. I arrived at midnight greeted to loud music, parties (tellys), and “escorts”. Sure, okay I get it. Maybe I rented the wrong room at the wrong motel, I know which ones in my own city are for these things. But oh god the rooms were disgusting. Suspicious stains on pillowcases (a hair on one of them) and bedsheets, roaches and spiders everywhere. In my room I think the spiders won their little war but in my parents room I think the roaches bested them. Thankfully there were no bedbugs (that I saw) but it felt gross to simply exist in the rooms. The bathroom lacked soap and the towels were stained so best believe I didn’t shower. The room next to ours had the television on max volume all night and the TV wall was adjacent to our bed so that was fun (not). It felt like I was in a horror movie with the way I would feverishly wake up hourly from either the itching, the next-door tv, or the noises of the people outside. Don’t get me wrong, I know I got a room at a motel, but I paid $200 for one of the most uncomfortable experiences in my life. It feels like what I imagine paying for those torturous extreme haunted houses feels like. Look up McKamey Manor and this wouldn’t be too far off. If it’s your only option it’s better than sleeping in your car, but if you have any other option I seriously implore you explore it. The only reason I would come back would be to see if the roaches and spiders worked out their differences.

good location. right in the middle of the beach and red bank.
it’s not well maintained. the rooms need a lot of work. looks like they’ve been patched from water damage several times, and the walls were dirty. sheets were also stained. bathroom light was out during our stay as well.

Right next to major roads.. Shopping. Gas. Food. Essentials. Can get anywhere easily. A good amount of dining in the area. Quite and for the most part serene at night.
Most of the housekeepers I’ve come across are so sweet and friendly and very helpful whenever I asked them for something. Very easygoing. The king rooms are nice if you get one that doesn’t smell like mildew and cigarette smoke. The TVs are not great but they get the job done. The ac/heating worked good when I used it, no dusty smells coming from it.
One time they wouldn’t give my full cash deposit back. Kept putting me in the smoking section knowing I have a pet and kids with me and requested non smoking. The one daughter specifically always seemed as if she hated dealing with me. Annoyed that I was always there and acted very unfriendly and had bad customer service with me. She tried to keep money from my deposit right in front of my face like I wouldn’t notice? But I was standing right there?… first they allow pets. I’ve seen parrots. There is a family there with a cat that walks in the courtyard and many different dogs. I’ve stayed there multiple times with no issues about my trained K9 but I went to check in after reserving and they wouldn’t allow me to stay because I had a big dog? Over 35lbs. They changed their policies because of an “incident” with a dog.. but still allow small dogs. A lap dog doesn’t mean a good dog. A big dog doesn’t mean it’s going to be a problem. Considering my dog has never caused an issue all the times I’ve stayed there the past couple months I should’ve been accommodated because I chose a pet friendly motel.

The lady at front desk. location
The rooms on web site are not the rooms of this motel. Horrible rooms. Stained towels and wash cloths. Stained sheets with burn holes and holes in bedspread. Floor nasty. table tops not cleaned. can see light at top, bottom and handle side of door. can feel the cold coming in around door. To many things that were horrible to list. Overpriced for this place.
