The towels weren’t clean they had hair in them and the sheets had cigarette burns in them. Hair on the walls.

There was no breakfast available. There was only coffee. But the comfort and cleanliness of the room definitely compensated for that😁
Not much to not like. Very friendly staff. The only thing would be lack of breakfast but there were several surrounding places to go to eat breakfast.

The sheets and the comforter was gross. I had to go buy sheets and a comforter they gave me another set of sheets. They didn’t have any more comforters.

This place has been absolutely phenomenal to us! We live about 4 and a half hours away and are here visiting my husband's grandfather who is in the process of passing. We have been having to stay here day by day and we love it here. The staff is very friendly. Especially the girl with the blue hair!!! She's so sweet and has handled us and all my crazy request every night!!! Def choose this over anything!

We had an issue about a cancelled room that was still showing on the hotel's end, and the clerk helped us get that taken care of. She and the other staff were friendly and helpful. We also liked the location by the Coosa River.
We could have used more towels and wash cloths.

The property was clean, well appointed, and comfortable. Red Roof Inns are a mixed bag. some, like the one we stayed in the following night in Hagerstown Maryland was a no go on a different trip but the Gadsden Red Roof was the best one I have stayed in. A plus is the lovely lake next to the motel and the numerous restaurants that surround the property. Great staff! Reminded me of a Marriott Courtyard but at a much more reasonable price.

Location was really nice.
The reviews for this place are exceptional. However, I found it to be a basic motel with marginal appeal. My room was not exactly dirty, but there was nothing appealing about it. You wouldn't want to walk on the floor in bare feet, the bed was pretty well beaten down, and, in general, the place felt run-down.
