No heating, too many steps, no coffee and hardly any staff presence. Also hotel switched day of arrival due to "renovations"?!

There wasn’t much to like. It has a nice large front porch but it’s deceiving because the rooms are awful.

Most of the place. The drop ceilings in the room allowed us to hear every step the people upstairs took. The bathroom is so old and dated it appears to be dirty. We wouldn’t even shower. We left after one night.

Shower needs a lot of repair and small

The location of the hotel and the price offered was the main reason for our stay. The hotel room was clean and did have some modern furniture in it. The front desk employees were excellent and accommodating in our requests. We also loved the outside deck seating area. Overall the hotel is a decent hotel especially for the money and location as well as great staff.

Friendly feedback - the shower curtain should be upgraded to something a little better because the water does get on the floor. The shower head also was spraying out the side so the shower curtain wasn’t holding back the water which allowed the floor to get wet. We adjusted the shower head to aim towards the wall to help reduce this issue. The one lamp closest to the door next to the bed was not able to be turned on because there was no outlet closest to it. If there was an outlet then sorry that I missed it but we did look for an outlet with no luck. The bed I was hoping can be at least a queen size bed if there will be two guests to the room that hosts one bed.

Enjoyed the large porch in the evenings.

Location was fantastic. Just a couple blocks from the beach. We enjoyed sitting on the huge covered porch in the morning. We would be out there before the cleaning staff would come each day and do a thorough cleaning of the common areas. We only stayed for one full day but had a chance to use the pool and that is honestly the best feature of the entire hotel. Although it is not easily accessible from the Blue Water Inn, it was clean and very inviting. I could see how it would get very crowded for the two building it is meant to entertain.

The bathroom in our room was way below what we were expecting. Although it was cleaned (smellled of bleach) It still looked dirty and the shower stall wasn't properly installed. The shower head was just drilled through a hole in a surround that looks like it was literally just placed in the bathroom. Even the plumbing was hanging out of the wall. This is not acceptable.

Location was only good thing

Our first room was a dump, bathroom floor was peeled linoleum, was so small the pedestal sink was outside in the room. Sheets were old and dingy, comforter had holes. Got another room next day, still was dumpy but at least this door closed properly and had 2 keys for this room, and bathroom sink was actually in bathroom. Although this shower was actually like a makeshift one. I was grateful there were no bedbugs.

Location is very nice free parking and very close to the beach so you can just walk, the bed was comfortable and the ac unit easily cooled the whole room.

The parking though free and convenient was not great due to the fact that the people who pull into the parking lot first are then blocked in by the cars behind them, the rooms were small as was the shower, and we were not given towels at all even after asking housekeeping for them.

great location and the large porch was nice.

Room wasn’t as pictured online. No pillow or mattress protectors and box spring was stained, ripped and exposed. Blinds were filthy. Inn keeper/ hostess never looked up from her phone and didn’t offer any information to us unless we asked and even then it was minimal. Felt like I was bothering and interrupting her. like other reviews said, only 2 towels were offered for a family of 4.

The smallest room I have ever stayed in! I guess if you're young & only staying to shower & sleep it would be OK but not recommended for families or the handicapped. We felt really crammed in! The beds were really uncomfortable and the one mattress was hanging onto the floor.

BED BUG infested, filthy, room, literally on a pitch where you felt like you were falling, with the bottom of the door opening 6.5” from the floor. Not a single light on in the hallway, mattress was hard with NO mattress cover, sheets and blankets had stains, toilet didn’t flush. I LEFT BECAUSE I COULDN’T STAY THERE!! Bites all over my legs in less than an hour!

There was no breakfast, and lobby coffee bitter.. for the price, it was "what is was". I expected nothing special. Lobby dull, room clean but dull. Staff very nice.

Have good coffee in lobby..it is the least the owners can do..

receptionist was very friendly. maids were very nice.
