Great breakfast. Some parts of the hotel seemed a bit run down. Cabinet doors broken. Dirty carpets. Otherwise it was decent.

The beds were extremely comfortable.

The pillows were nice and having a sofa in the room.

Air didn't work, noise from other rooms and mattress needs replaced as it's very used.

it’s in such a location as to take advantage of air travelers while close enough to service those visiting Milwaukee and surrounding areas. Bathroom was super clean. Room and linens were clean.

I will premise this by saying our stay was a weekend to weekend stay, Sunday to following Sunday. One of the primary factors in selecting this hotel was the reviews about the breakfasts. We had planned utilize the hotels breakfast in the weeks meal plan. Make no mistake, the breakfast here during the week is simply dismal. For breakfasts during the week you are greeted with microwave biscuits, cereal cups, bananas, oatmeal pouches, etc. In other words barely grab and go breakfasts. When we asked about it we got excuses ranging from “not enough staff” to “we haven’t had the bistro for three years now” (even tho everywhere you look there’s adverts about it, even menus in the elevators) That brings me to Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Friday we were informed that they would make us a couple items from the “bistro menu” if we ask. In stark contrast, both Saturday and Sunday they had posted up a menu of a couple “bistro menu” items, along with offering orange juice, flavored coffee, and more. Seeing this it was clear that they simply don’t put this same energy into guest breakfasts during the week as they do on weekends. This is a pretty sad practice if you ask me and enough if one that will keep me from ever returning to stay there nor recommending the place to friends and family. This hotel grounds are set up for a nice morning and even evening bistro. They have bottles on display behind the counter that indicate they could serve alcohol in the evenings. utilizing these abilities to the fullest would keep this hotel packed, especially on the weekend. The hotel is clean and secure and the cleaning staff and checkin staff are responsive and courteous so I don’t think the hotel is being mismanaged which may mean that they simply do not enough staff to open the bistro which is a shame. The potential is there.

Very clean with a friendly staff. The free breakfast with Starbucks coffee was a pleasant surprise.
