Beautiful view and the pool was fun. The condo was huge. Staff was very accommodating!
It looks like the pictures, but dingy. No AC, rust on appliances, pillows were hard and crunchy (asked for new ones of course). The location was rough with little to no places to eat without driving. A food truck did come once. All in all, just a little disappointed in the fact that we paid a high price for a beautiful view and got less than that.

The view is amazing and the property has a cool community atmosphere, hosting socials for people to mingle in common areas.
It says ocean view but “it’s not guaranteed”. We paid extra for a birthday trip and splurged on the ocean view and when we got there we weren’t anywhere near the view. Our balcony overlooked the lot we parked in.

Suite style with equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms in a 1 bedroom suite. Convenient parking, bikes, beach accessories available, in-unit washer and dryer
Pillows were uncomfortable. Unit seemed dated with some things not working properly. No AC, sliding doors/ screens not locking properly, curtains not gliding easily to open or closed positions, loose toilet seat for example.
No housekeeping for a 5 night stay, when I asked , I was informed it would be an extra $200/day for housekeeping service!
They only provide 1 coffee setup in the unit- used it the first day. When I asked how the coffee would be replenished, I was informed I could buy a pack for $6.
They provide beach towels - which need to be washed everyday because-no housekeeping- 2 small single load detergent provided- I went to store to buy more as towels were used at the beach.
The price of the hotel was not cheap, yet I felt they lacked in standard details such as the coffee and mostly upfront communication as to what to expect during your stay.

The rooms were spacious, clean and the view was speechless.
No AC!

Great and quite location on North Shore. You need a car to get to the beaches but they are just 10 min away. Nice Rec Center with pool.
Nothing to mention here

the property is based on a beautiful cliff. make sure you book with ocean view! thanks to an upgrade which was provided 🙏🏽we changed rooms to an apartment with ocean view. that was awesome! in the morning we saw whales from the cliff (the garden of the resort)!! a beautiful garden!!

Location was lovely. It was in close driving distance to the state park and did have numerous activities for all ages. The condo was spacious and had lovely showers.
The pool was pretty chilly. The pillows were terrible. There were walks around the cliffs and garden. It would have been nice to have a safer/easier way down the cliff to extend the walks.

The property is beautiful with an amazing view of the ocean. The unit itself was like a home away from home, it had great appliances and was clean and spacious. Very relaxing and peaceful.
It was a little bit isolated - no cafes or shops in walking distance.

Very spacious villa, plenty of space
No A/C, had to park far away from the room

The resort was beautiful and the grounds were well kept with an amazing view. The staff was very accommodating. I even accidentally left behind an item and the staff found it and mailed it back to my house immediately. I would love to stay there again!

North coast of Kauai is beautiful and Princeville is well situated to enjoy the north end of the island.
property is a little dated but nicely kept, clean and comfortable.

the apartment is well furnished, spacious and clean.
i thought this was a hotel but is more of an apart-hotel. The staff were far less friendly than on the south shore. Some looked annoyed to actually have to attend me…

We were able to drive to some great hikes to see waterfalls, the lighthouse and private beaches. We wandered down to the cliffs each evening with a bottle of wine to sit in the adirondac chairs and watch the whales, dolphins and sunsets (and lust after the rooms that had this view from their balconies (see below).
Those hours were lovely--escpecially after a good day of hiking. These condos are great for families and dual couples who want to enjoy an outdoor pool and prepare their own meals.
When we arrived late in the afternoon from our flight, the "only available" condo was in the only interior (no sea view) buidling which was bordered by the staff parking lot on one side and the building unit parking lot on the other side. People noisily exited the campus every night around 11 pm and again around 1 am. On the other end people arrived around 6 am. We didn't get much sleep! I told them several times when our ETA would be--apparently to no affect. We booked our February rooms the previous July. Were there that many people booked into the facility prior to July or did they just randomly assign rooms based on when people arrived? There is no good beach at the condo or even close by. If you don't want to cook dinners you have to drive to town where most meals were okay, not great.

The room was spacious.
Check in staff was rude.
We couldn't get the sliding glass doors to lock properly.
Water running from the shower head was weak.
Had a funky smell.
No air conditioning.
Both TVs weren't working.
Ceiling fan was broken.

Very impressed with landscaping and facilities, although disappointed that the time to rent sport equipment starts at 9am, especially because we were there for 1 day and checkout is at 10. I would have loved to use the basketball court or putting greens at 7 or 8 am. Also loved how spacious the unit was, the proximity to the view of the ocean and Hanalei.
The room felt a little dirty and couch had light stains. Also, check in is at 4 and check out is at 10am, so for a one day stay, we only get 18 hours.

Nice having a living room, dining area Kitchen and two bathrooms. Ocean view was also great.
Our room 5206 other view was the backside of the pool area where the pump ran 24 hours a day. It was load with the door closed. Since most people staying there are owners or vacation ownership the staff did not really help us out with activities around the area or even within the facilities.

Room was clean and fairly good size. Kitchen was good. Liked the back porch sitting area.
Front desk only open limited hours. Staff was not friendly. No places to eat on site or within walking distance. No information about the resort given on check in.

The Cliffs at Princeville is beautifully maintained and is on a great part of Kauai. It is more isolated at this part of the island but the views are stunning.
Our particular condo was on the first floor and many people walked by even though it was the last unit on a corner. Therefore we had to keep the drapes closed more than we would like which made the bedroom very dark. Also this unit had no air conditioning which made it hot since we couldn’t take advantage of the cross breeze due to being so visible on the first floor.
