I felt like I was staying in a Holiday Inn. Loved the room, very modern and really close to everything in town. Will definitely stay here again next time I visit.
There was nothing I didn't like.

Noise control. I called twice to get them to have people partying outside the door at 2:00 and 2:30 AM

The floors are always dirty. Walking in socks after a few minutes the bottoms will pick up the dirt and turn black

Only a few rooms were taken but they put me right next to one of the only other rooms that had someone (noisy) in it.

This hotel room was spotless! Cleanest hotel room I’ve rented in years!
Could have used an extra blanket or warmer blanket in bed.

Location is perfect. The facilities and room were updated during the Covid-19 downtime. Everything is the room as described and in new condition despite the building being old. The free breakfast included everything you look for a typical American breakfast.

The breakfast choices were horrible. The coffee maker was broken in the breakfast room.
Per management, the facility has no maintenance services to fix room issues, such as leaking, toilet, broken coffee maker. Also, the orange juice was actually punch drink from the local grocery store.

Had to leave a day early. Even though I told them at 3:30PM they refunded me the second day I had booked. That alone will guarantee I stay there next time I go to Ft. Davis

Clean but small room. Had all amenities like lotion, soaps, hair dryer, mini fridge, microwave and large TV.
No hot breakfast but pleanty of cereal and pancakes.

It was very modern, ac worked great, Hot water for showers, good breakfast served with coffee and the price for the stay was reasonable.
Please get a Pool put in! We would have stayed here all weekend instead of 1 night if there had been a pool.
I don’t know if the shower curtains are washed between stays - They should be if they are not - because ours was moldy.

Strong smell.of bleach and the house keeping was very loud in the morning. Need to remember people are sleeping!

The location is just off Fort Davis and close to Marfa's lights or Balmorhea's swimming pool. Fort Davis state &c Donald observatory are close by. This would allow to spend a great week end in Fort Davis.
However the room was chilly with room temp around 58°F waking up. The room was not well cleaned at all. The building is very loud: we could listen to next door's tv and flushing noise felt like coming from our room.
I wished I had booked the Drug store hotel in town

Clean and well maintained. Stayed at a $250/night hotel on way back home that wasn’t as clean as this little place. Great price for what we required. We never needed to ask for any towels, tp, etc during the 7 night stay. Convenient to going to various birding locations in the area and was quick trip into town for food. The staff was friendly. Will be staying here again when we return in future.
