When we pulled up there was a lot of foot traffic passing through. When we got to the room we had to walk all the way inside in the dark because the light switch didn't work. The first thing I noticed were the disgusting mattresses due to the sheets not fitting properly. I pulled the covers back and the sheets were stained or dirty (not sure which because I was afraid to touch the marks) and there were straight and curly hairs stuck to the sheets. The room had a foul odor. The walls were stained with something. The light switches on the walls and lamps were gross with something smeared on them. Then I noticed the floor was littered with dead bugs and my son said he saw a live one in the bathroom. We thought about sleeping in the car but when we opened the door (which didn't even shut properly so the lock was useless) we saw more single males crossing the parking lot with backpacks. We ended up booking at the Best Western up the road and had a wonderful stay. Don't make the same mistake as us. Believe the reviews.

The staff was prompt to welcome me in when i first got there to check in.
Another guest walked in right behind me while i was checking in, with complaints about his room not being cleaned and he was staying for an extended period for work. The front counter guy seemed overwhelmed when the other guest insisted that housekeeping had not been to his room after reporting the grossness of his room.When we got our keys and went to the room, I noticed the beds were only full size, not queen as advertised. I also noticed the walls were very nasty. There were substances all over the walls. The traffic from the highway could be heard inside the rooms.

The bathtub in our room, the liner was pealing. The area stunk, on the way up to the room. Floors was nasty. Worst laquinta i have ever stayed in.

It was absolutely horrible! Open electrical outlets, bugs in the room, only 1 1/2 pillows on one of the beds, other bed was broken, no hangers, had an iron. No board, my daughters room had a board and no iron. Gate to the pool was zip tied shut. No coffee at breakfast and only one waffle machine worked. We asked for ground level floor due to a handicapped person, was placed on the third level. Elevator was out the next morning, because of a fire drill, and nobody at the front desk even cared at all when we talk to them about it.

Everything, the beds were broken when you lay in them you lean all the way back. You could literally feel the springs in my bed. The bathroom didn't have a toilet paper holder. No sitting area. Phone didn't work. The bath tub had no grip, almost slipped and fell. Had two towels for 3 days, room was never cleaned in between. Had half a pillow. Very little parking areas due to a big crate taking up a lot. We asked for a lower level due to having back issues and having a senior with a walker and was told it's fine we have a elevator... Last day there the elevates were broke down so it didn't help, we were on 3 row. Zip ties on the pool fence if there were an emergency they wouldn't be able to get there in time. Tv didn't match the channel. AC was messed up, couldn't turn it down it was only on or off. Had no luggage holder and no hangers. The front desk worker wouldn't give me the corporate number and told me to go find it online.

The room was the nastiest la quinta I have ever stay . We stayed in a family room we moved into another suite and it was just as nasty.

It was a very spacious family room.
The sofa bed for the family room was not a "sofa bed". It was just a one seater couch, it couldn't be made into a bed. So, we were out a bed for our kids, had to crowd them into one.

We didn't stay afterall
My bed sheets were dirty they had hairs. Fridge had food from the previous guest. Ac wasn't working. Lights weren't working (room was dark). My window was broken. It couldn't lock so I didn't feel safe for my kids and I. There were roaches and ants. The male receptionist was rude and screamed at us. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

My key didn’t work. I had to wait outside in the cold till the maintenance man came. I didn’t receive a new key. I was told to go knock on the maintenance door if I needed to be let back in the room

The only positive was the proximity to the hospital where my wife was scheduled for a proceedure.
On first entering the parking lot, i witnessed drug paraphanalia on the ground. The bathtub was soiled and had previously been re-coated. that re-coating was chipped and flaking badly. the overflow of the tub was open and loose. the people in the adjacent rooms were very loud and hanging out right outside our door. Corners of the walls appeared to not have been cleaned. One mattress was okay, but the other was not.,
