Breakfastt was better than i expected. Location was serene but walking distance to town.

Great quiet waterfront location within a very short walk into town. The owner, Clay, is an outstanding host. Highly recommend this property.

We absolutely loved our stay. The room had all of the amenities we needed and the view was spectacular. The host is an amazing chef (beware that you might put on a few pounds the food is so good!) We hope to come back again!

The B&B is located on a historic street and faces the water. It’s quiet and tranquil yet just a few short blocks from shops and cafes. We didn’t have a car - the area restaurants are great. The host, Clay, is warm and welcoming. Each morning we were served a delicious breakfast on the porch and in mid-afternoon he offered a wonderful home baked treat. There are complimentary cold drinks in the fridge along with coffee and tea. Our French Suite was on the main floor, with a totally charming & authentic ambiance - I closed my eyes & dreamt I was in Paris!

I loved everything about Stirling House. The location is excellent and right near the water with a nice dock that you can walk out on. Easy available street parking is a plus. It's only a five minute walk into town but has a nice feeling of privacy if you want it--best of both worlds. So much is provided beyond the lovely breakfast that Clay (the proprietor) provides (with fresh herbs from the yard)--wonderful homemade afternoon snacks and a little kitchen that offers anything you might need 24/7. Our room was comfortable, welcoming and pretty with nice personal touches.

I didn't like that I had to leave after our wonderful 3 nights!

The location was exceptional. Just a short walk to town. Clay was very personable and helpful. His breakfasts were not only delicious, but the presentation added to the flavor. We stayed in the Paris room and the jetted tub was such a pleasant surprise. If we ever visit Greenport again, we will definitely stay with Clay!

Breakfast was gourmet.It was very fresh and Clay was a great host and Chef.Really enjoyed our stay it was what we needed.For any craft beer drinkers the Greenport brewery is about 100 yards away so you can walk .
