I never know what to expect when I stay at an Inn on the main highway but I was pleasantly surprised. Rooms have been refinished, it was comfortable for an overnight stay or when you are not planning on being in the room a lot.

Some of the clientele were questionable but the Inn obviously tries to maintain a safe environment for everyone.

The lady at the front desk is so sweet, I really recommend

the only good thing to be said about the property was that is was clean.

the staff was extremely rude. when we first got there and checked in the bed only had a thin sheet and a thin blanket folded on the bottom of the bed and three pillows, so my husband went and asked for another blanket and more pillows and they were rude and acted as if it was a huge deal for us to ask for anything at all. at one point my husband was smoking in front of the door to our room and the night guy came and berated him about smoking saying there were signs everywhere saying he had to smoke in the parking lot, there was one sign hidden behind the stairs, we were fine with the rules but the tone and way he spoke to us was absolutely unnecessary considering it was something we weren’t told. especially when later that same evening I went to the lobby and seen the same man smoking directly in front of the lobby doors and blowing smoke into the lobby as he walked back inside. overall I would never stay here again. the lady on 2nd shift and the man on nights were so unbelievably unprofessional and rude. I truly don’t expect much from places like these but I do expect to be treated as a guest not an unwanted pest.

Came to Port Richey to meet family, enjoy the beach, and have some great food. The motel was in the perfect spot for our needs. It was clean and comfortable. The value was excellent. Very nice room for the price. This is not a resort, but if you need a place to stay while you explore Port Richey, Roadway Inn Port Richey is perfect.
