I kept getting locked out my room also took my child's only shoes. Check out is by 11. Lady cleaning claims at 11 my room was her last to clean. I have til 11 to check out so excuse me lady, just like everyone else does.

Nothing, we ended up leaving after seeing the room.

When we arrived in the sketchy neighborhood where the motel is we went to check in with a very unfriendly person. The first thing I noticed is that he forged my signature by putting my initials under a document on the iPad. When we came into the room, we saw multiple cockroaches walking around and asked for another room, but that room had the same problem. As we did not want to sleep in a room that dirty we asked if we could get our money back if we left. The person behind the counter promised us that we would get it back in 10 days (we asked multiple times if it was really a possibility). After more than 2 weeks we did not even get the deposit back. When calling with booking.com about it we found out that he lied about our check-out time: it was so horrible we checked out at 2 am to find a new hotel, but they said we checked out at 6 am. We did get our deposit back after calling, but we never got our money back from the motel (the motel refused to pay that back even after promising and making many mistakes). I also did some research about Motel 6 and it turns out they also lost a lawsuit for giving guest lists to ICE. What I can conclude from this experience is that Motel 6 is a terrible organization which does not care about any guests or laws, but has enough money to pay off lawsuits. I would recommend to never book with them.

Our housekeeper Destiny was the best thing of all, she made sure we had everything we needed. And had time to talk to us. I just hope she got the $20.00 tip we left her.

The night receptionist was so rude and disrespectful to us when we asked to please open the parking lot door. Then he stated that it was only $100 that we paid for one night, that it was okay for us to park on the street. I stated to him that it was not only one night that I have paid more than $400 for four nights in 3 days, then that's when he decided to go ahead and open the door. I don't feel like I needed to explain to him how much I spent for the renting of the room due to the fact that it was none of his business. Refused to give deposit back until he went up to observe the room. Several times I told him that some of the items there were from the main office. I was not happy with any of his service at all. I was close to just calling the hotel manager to complain, but I didn't want to do things any worse. We felt like we couldn't call downstairs for anything, that we were a bother to him. There was a Hispanic gentleman the first night we were there he was friendly nice and was concerned regarding our comfortable stay. He was even able to switch out the microwave that was not working for a different one and wouldn't leave the room until the microwave was in working conditions. I will not recommend Motel 6 downtown Modesto California to anyone until that staff member is properly trained to represent the motel.

Location was pretty good, easy access

The room was uncomfortable, there was no shampoo. Air condition was very loud and broken with very loud noice which was waking us up at night. My husband found cockroach in the bathroom! No coffee option.

They were allowing a homeless couple with 6 plus dogs to sleep in there truck inside the gated area. Completely uncomfortable place to stay at.
