Very clean breakfast was good

The property was fine. Just had a few issues with the front desk. I had called the morning of my check in to verify that I could pay with a different card when I got to the property they said yes then later on that day, I got a message that my card had been charged and was declined. When I called Property I ended up having to pay before I got to the property. They threatened to cancel my reservation then I got to the property at 9 PM. The guy at the Front Desk was extremely sarcastic and rude to me because I was trying to explain my communication with two Front Desk associates prior that day. The three people I dealt with on the phone that day were all inconsistent and not saying the same things when I told him I spoke to someone earlier it was like I don’t know they need to take more of a team approach and have everybody on the same page, I had driven 10 hours prior to arrival from Atlanta. So it was just frustrating and annoying that I had to deal with such inconsistency.

Pie for the room. Got to the hotel and they didn’t honor booking.com. Never got reimbursed. So I got messed over!

The customer service

Breakfast was unsatisfactory. Juice machine did not work the first night. Staff could not give me another pillow, and the beds were not queen. Hotel was over price for the quality.

The location was great. we were there for a softball tournament and it was close to the ballpark and many restaurants.

some of the building was under construction. literally start right outside our room. There was no flooring. the walls in the room were dirty, the door frames were beat up, the hardware was wore on the doors (bathroom and the door to the to the room. we listed the number of people staying in our room (3 adults, 2 kids- 2 & 7), requested a rollaway bed. they accepted our booking. it was a king bed with a rollaway (our kids co sleep). I had to go ask for additional towels (we had two regular towels and two rags, one hand towel). They man at the desk was very rude about getting more towels. He said that room was meant for two people when he asked why I needed more. I explained that we had everyone listed on the reservation in addition to having the extra bed added. he coughed up the extra towels. We had to ask for more the next day (they asked for ten dirty ones, not a big deal). the floor was so filthy if the white towel went near it is was covered in dirt (the floor towel was atrocious each night). Before checking out we walked all of our stuff outside to the car (we were out there maybe three minutes). I walked back inside to get our stuff out of the fridge and actually checkout. my room key didn’t work!! I went to the front desk and the older man ask “well did you forget something in there”. I wanted to say “Even if I didn’t I paid over $100 for that room and I want back in. I haven’t checked out”. We left a day early. He allowed access to the room, I got my stuff, went to checkout. I requested a receipt at checkout. He asked why I wanted one. i just responded that I need one. He went and got the same guy that was rude about the towels to assist with the receipt. They were so shady about the situation. They even asked for my ID. we travel often and I have never been asked for my ID at checkout. The whole stay was obnoxious. On top of unkempt facilities, the breakfast is extremely limited and not replenished.

The comfort on the bed both had stains on them. Lamp shades was tore up. The deadbolt did not work and was able to lock. The night time associate was unprofessional. The pictures that were on the website did not look like that in person.

It was only a few minutes from the baseball facility where we played. It is just off the interstate and relatively close to everything. The free breakfast was a welcome service also.

It could use some updating of the carpet and some of the furniture in the rooms.
