ideal location for what I wanted to do in Memphis

The hotel is located close to the interstate. The overworked staff was extremely helpful.

The front desk staff were very nice and helpful

The cleaning smell is very overpowering.. we had to go buy a fan and fabreeze

Overall decent stay. Fair price and housekeeping was about average, nothing to complain about. Definitely would stay here again when passing through.

I got injured not on the property somewhere else and the women at the front desk couldn’t be nicer, got be food cause I was alone, made an ice bag and gave me bandaids, couldn’t be more helpful.

Nothing went well.

The short of it: HIghway Noise/ Smelly, room with a ceiling full of black mildew and a carpet that smelled of mildew! Could not sleep because of both these things. The long of it: The room we had was right on the highway, even though I had asked for a quiet room. I heard truck go by all night long and could not sleep. There was a strange smell in the hallway of the second floor where our room was. The ceiling in room was full of black mildew and the floor/carpet smelled of mildew as well. It was a very penetrating unpleasant smell which bothered me all night. We did not want to ask for a different room, since we arrived shortly before 10pm and I was dead tired (still could not sleep, though, because of the noise and the smell). I did not want to haul our luggage to a different room. It might have been been better, it might not. Who knows? Anyway, I felt very uncomfortable all night and was eager to leave the next day. I left two messages for the manager; in his message, he promises to call you back soon; well, this is more than 30 hours later, and he has still not called me back, and by now I don't think he will call back.

very, very slow staff. Gave the customer in front of me his room key when he asked where that room was, she said no - wait I can't give you that room. and took another 10 minutes to give him a different one. When she finally got to me, no greeting, minimal communication until she started to give me my room key and then told me (at least she did tell me before we got there) that the room we had smelled like marijuana! And I could keep that if my family was ok with the smell or she could change my room. Finally got a non weed room, but the whole place has a weird smell. Room smallish & lots of little things like light switch covers broken. It was ok for a night, but we wouldn't go back.
