The location was good and the breakfast was good.

The first room we were assigned had a strong odor so we asked for a different room. The facility is in need of updating.

Breakfast was great, they have a waffle maker to make fresh waffles. Hotel was clean. Rooms were pretty standard. We asked for joined rooms and recieved it so that was awesome.

Specifically got this hotel for their pool and it was closed. Nothing was posted. Not cool when you have two kids expecting to go swimming after a 8 hour car ride. Was not pleased. Told we could use a pool at a different hotel... But it was cold outside and we just were on the road for forever... so that honestly wasn't worth it. Just ridiculous.

-very expensive....but it was VMI, W&L alum weekend and a major horse show....so ...

For the price, very good stay. Comfortable. Clean. Free breakfast

Close proximity to town and interstates. Staff very helpful and friendly. Location was off road enough to be quiet for sleeping.

The room was a bit too small for 3 persons sharing the room.

room smelled terrible, obviously was smoked in. the neighboring room said they heard people partying until 4 AM, every smoke detector in the room had a dirty washcloth covering it. we had arrived late in the evening after a 6 hour drive. we did not stay.

THE STAFF WAS PROFESSIONAL AND ACCOMMODATING

I DIDNT THINK IT APPROPRIATE THAT PETS WERE ALLOWED IN THE DINING AREA AND THE FOOD AREA. PEOPLE WERE CARRYING PETS IN THEIR ARMS AT AND ABOVE COUNTER LEVEL. IT WAS VERY UNSANITARY.
