The property was well maintained and updated, friendly, helpful staff, very decent continental breakfast (included toast, waffles, fruit, yogurt, cereal, hard cooked eggs etc). Staff had no problem with us bringing our bikes into the room.

The location was so convenient; lots within walking distance. The breakfast was great- love the waffle maker and good pastries. Our room was clean and comfortable, the AC worked great, parking and check-in were simple, and the staff was excellent.

The doors slam, and I was woken up several times to other guests letting their doors slam shut. The ice machine was broken, which was an inconvenience.

Pretty standard room and facilities. Manager is very friendly and helpful. Location is not bad but is far from Olympic Nat Park.

I expected the "continental breakfast" to be coffee and pastries, but it had everything you'd find at a Hampson Inn or Holiday Inn Ezpeess, except the rubbery sausage and the gross instant eggs. But, there were waffles, pancakes, yogurt, cereal, plus the pastries. Also, there is a little puttputt golf course on the property. The couple that runs the hotel is so nice and so helpful.

There's no elevator. It wasn't a problem for us, but might deter some people.

The new owners and management staff was very helpful and friendly. They actually had a breakfast as advertised - Waffle machine, pancake maker, cereal, fruit.. not a muffin, apple and milk in a bag like most places nowadays. Comfortable beds in good sized rooms. There is a market across the street and many restaurants, entertainment and activities options for while family or just the traveling business person within blocks. I would choose Ocean Star Inn over the local casino(its only 7 minutes away if you wanna go play a little) at half the cost. You definitely get more than you pay for at this price point,

It may seem strange to say but there was not anything that I did not like I could be silly and say things like.. The coffee was to fresh, The bed was to comfortable.. This is just a great place.

The staff at check in were very friendly and explained any pertinent details about my stay. The hotel was in a good location, safe, plenty of parking, and had all the normal amenities found in a typical hotel stay.

The thing I hated most was that the hotel rooms are not carpeted, but have vinyl flooring. This just feels very cheap and also not very cozy or inviting. Also what ive noticed a lot of hotels do now is don't provide full size pillows but like small/quarter size pillows. It is uncomfortable to sleep with. I wish hotels would stop doing this! It makes no sense to me.

Claiming to have a continental breakfast but when you arrive you have to make a choice of breakfast options (non of them are part of a 'continental breakfast') which they are all out of. They only had a tiny "smoothie" (simple yoghurt drink). With that in mind the price you pay is too much.

Really friendly staff and rooms were a great size. Beds were comfy and it was quiet. Location is close to everything. Couldn't have asked for a better stay.

breakfast was cold. toothbrush and toothpaste are NOT complimentary. there was this smell at the hall way on 3rd floor. price/night is quite expensive compared to the value of the property.
