The property looks like it has gone through some renovations, which look fantastic.
The pool was closed and it was extremely hot outside.

Nice quite location.
Having paid over 200 a night (not sure why as price is now significantly lower) I was surprised to find the place so run down and just a basic motel. Not an Inn at all. It was decent and doable but really a 100 a night place.

MapleLeaf Inn did not inform us on their website that they are a virtual motel (i.e. no office, no staff on the premises, no answer on the phone) until in one of the confirmation emails included this information. Not noticing this change, we arrived, no one was there and we left...P.S. we were charged for 2 nights!

Great location, our room had a kitchenette which was great for our stay for the Ironman race. Clean, very comfortable beds, and nice staff.

The location in relation to downtown Lake Placid is convenient for walking. The beds were comfortable.
Guest parking is in a row, one behind the other. If everyone isn't mindful, it is possible to become blocked in which almost happened to us. A sign should be present telling guests to leave enough room. The carpeting in the room was a little stained and needs to be cleaned or replaced and the bathroom radiators are rusty and need replacing.

Whiteface ski resort.

Location good, inexpensive. Facilities much older than they looked in pictures. No public hot tub as I thought, only jacuzzi in some rooms, i think? Shuttle to Whiteface is steps away which was our purpose for visit.

I booked a two bedroom suite and got a small room with two beds. Not what I was expecting. for the price, I would have gone to a more luxurious hotel, if we were going to have just one room.
