We only stayed one night for a funeral. It was a perfect location. It was quite and peaceful. Just what I needed. Wish we could have stayed longer. Room was very clean.
The shower was slippery. Hard to find Elevators. Parking was kinda crazy. Steps were slippery because of the rain.

Very nice spacious. Staff was friendly. Great location. Glad they had elevator access to floors.
Would love to see an elevator at each lodging (set of rooms)

Oceanfront view - we left the balcony door open the entire trip to hear the waves crashing and to feel the sea breeze. My best visit to any beach by far! Great hotel, clean, quiet, perfect location. Everything was exactly what you needed for a great stay, with no complications or fussiness of a large hotel. Rustic tile floors were a bonus, felt nice under foot and handled sand issues well. Also, if you are big on linens that feel quality, sheets were very cool and comfy too. Surprisingly so. Matter of fact, I’d love to have a set at home LOL. Nice summer comforter too…. I’ll def be back!
Only 1 elevator. Lots of stairs. Not a big deal or dealbreaker for us, but slightly annoying in bad weather. This could be a big deal for those with mobility issues.
Breakfast could have been a bit more hearty. I am allergic to all dairy and eggs so was limited to a danish or plain waffle, as butters are a no go and cereals required milk and any yogurt options are out too. Would be happy to pay a fee for a breakfast buffet selection with Oat milk/plant butters or maybe sausage / biscuits. Would be very willing to pay extra for whatever options might be available.
Regardless - happy to have the hot coffee, food and nice service of your folks at the desk and breakfast room, as they were all top notch folks. 😀

the indoor pool want very heated my granddaughter was shivering the whole time . we had to get in hot tub

Loved being beachfront for such affordability!! Room was clean, new TV not old school style. Nice breakfast included.
The way you had to get your luggage cart in and out of the building is kind of a hassle. The doors between rooms are thin and allows for easy hearing of the people next to you.

This is my second stay in this hotel this year because their “sister hotel” next door was booked. I now know why. The Ocean Isle Inn has been having renovations done for a year now. Unfortunately this was the worst experience I have ever had in my travels. There were areas roped off & the elevator entrance with a ramp for luggage carts was closed. Luggage had to be brought up the stairs to the first floor elevator from the parking lot. This hotel needs to offer help with luggage, especially to seniors, like me who are traveling alone, until their renovations are completed. I cancelled my stay next stay with them in 2 weeks & booked with the Islander Inn where I usually stay. What a shame I have to give them this review. The property sits in a gold mine.

Excellent location at a good price booked at the last minute. Would come back.
Breakfast not very good. I recommend some fresh fruit and better coffee.

The oceanfront location is great. I like that the rooms didn't smell musty, like a lot of beach properties can smell.
Very old buildings in need of updating and upgrading. Didn't "feel" clean. Screen in our window had a big hole. Because of the outside access to the rooms from wooden steps, we could hear everyone clomping up and the stairs, chattering loudly. Ugh.

Great location! Exellent views.
Room too small for 2 queens. One bed actually shoved into a corner with no access to one side. One bed was moving around like it was on springs. Had to sleep on the other to keep motion sickness at bay. The noises from the hall were very loud inside the room. We could hear doors opening and closing all night. Could also hear tv next door through the wall.
