The view was beautiful. Everything seemed clean and comfortable.

The room was clean but needs a lot of updates. The mini fridge was rusted pretty bad on the outside so it was an eye sore. But worked fine. The walls are very thin and you can hear noisey neighbors too easily. The outside balcony needs a lot of fresh paint and clean railing. The outside of the heat and air unit is falling apart and needs replaced. The comforter and style was outdated. None of these things affected our stay. And the room had a beautiful view and was comfortable. All of this to say that we enjoyed ed our stay but definitely needs updating to fit today's standards of "nice and acceptable" overall we were pleased.

It was very affordable. I loved the location of the property.

location is great most of the staff were very helpful the cleaning ladies were exceptional.

the day we arrived, there was an issue with the sho shower not working, I report it maintenance cme they check it we found out the whole floor had no showers at that moment for our luck the access to the controls where the problem was was in our room so for about 3-4 hours we had 3-4 guys coming in and out of our room which can be very inconvenient which is all good and fine , they had to do their job next morning we had a water leak from the ceiling where they work the night before, so went to the Lobby to report it and to ask for some towels to clean up the mess the girl at the front desk acted annoyed like if I was making the story up. however the maintenance guy in turn came to the room and got it fixed but the whole point of the rant is that not even once anyone said sorry for the inconvenience. other than that , the place needs little bit of work maintenance wise.

The room was spacious and clean. 2 queen beds and room to move around. It did have a microwave and small refrigerator, we did not use either. The included breakfast was as expected with cereal, waffles and muffins. The A/C and heater, we used both, worked just fine. Easy walk to the beach. The staff was very nice and took good care of us. Although the hotel was full, the beach was not crowded.

The Islander failed to mention that parts of the hotel were under renovation. Looks like they were replacing windows and doors. Materials were stored in the parking lot under the building. However, we were not disturbed by any construction noise.

Location. Easy access to beach.

Walls are paper thin, guests in hallway/next room were loud and kept us up half the night. Bathrooms old, outdated and not clean (brown gunk around bottom of toilet). No easy elevator access and walking up 3 flights of stairs with small kids is a chore. there’s no covered walkway to the main breakfast area, so on the morning we walked to get food we were SOAKED. Won’t be staying again.
