First day the breakfast was great, biscuits were nice and soft/fresh.
Pancake machine was broken, batter ran all over. We cleaned it up as best we could. Biscuits were harder & gravy was barely warm. Not much variety offered for the warm foods, we got tired of the same thing each day.

Breakfast was good. It's close to my mom's house and we stay almost every year. I noticed the cinnamon rolls.are different. Wrapped during Covid was the beat!
The new window treatments. They're terrible. Sun rises at like 5:25am and there's an outline of the brightness. Are there going to be added curtains? I literally woke.up at 5:30 every single morning. I would rather stay all the way out in New Richmond. Also, the mattress was not comfortable. I did not experience ver good sleep here this time.

The staff at st croix was extremely helpful and made sure we got our room that booking.com completely screwed us on,if it wasn't for them we would have to sleep in our car
Booking.com sucks,there customer service sucks, instead of solving the problem,the booking.com staff would put us on hold and eventually hang up avoiding the problem,I will never use the app again, and will tell anyone who will listen not to use it either 🤔

I would have given them a 10, but the fire alarm went off at 1226a woke me up then I had a hard time going back to sleep. There was no discount for the disruption of the stay. Would have been nice to get a 10% discount.

Hot breakfast both mornings, a change from other hotels that only provide bagged items during covid. The breakfast bar was clean and well stocked.
NOISY GUESTS!! Hotel staff did a much as they could. There was a youth hockey team staying there that was rather loud and unruly with kids playing hockey in the hallways and taking over the pool area being loud and crazy. I didn't feel safe being in the pool area with my 6 and 3 year olds with balls flying everywhere and kids rough-housing in the pool while their parents sat on the side drinking not paying attention to the kids.
