The hotel had a nice pool area and although the room and furniture was dated, it was clean and neat.

Restaurant wasn’t open so had to eat out. The advert showed a gold course which is there but is not operational and in a state of disrepair.

Wi-Fi connection very poor

Clean, comfortable room with a view at a reasonable price, great base for exploring the Anza Borrego State Park and star gazing.

Noisy bathroom fan and high pressure faucet... but attentive staff asked about issues on checkout, made notes, and said they'd look into it.

I love this hotel. I was an original guest. The swimming pool was very dirty. There was an 8AM exercise class in the pool that woke me up several mornings. I was there to relax and unwind so it was a bit intrusive. I will return on my next visit to Borrego. I will ask for a room facing the back, They are doing their best with a limited staff. The staff however was kind and polite. The room was spotless. very comfy beds. soft towels excellent in room coffee. great pillows. nice balcony. I have been here 20 times and will be returning. I hated to leave........

Great little resort, good facilities, helpful staff, very clean rooms and comfortable bed. Nice landscaping and overall a well-maintained and pleasant hotel.
