Second time staying in the cottages, love the room and the fact that it has a spa in, after a day in the bike park or snowboarding its the best feeling.

I had bad signal since my phone is from mexico, so it was difficult to get the cottage# and pin code, but cathy was super helpful and gave it by phone.

Clean. Comfortable bed. Very hot water.

Major Wifi problems. TV wouldn't load, computer and phone very spotty. After following the instructions carefully, I filled the jacuzzi two inches above the jets. I went a little higher just in case. When I pressed the jet button, water from the very back jet went straight up and obviously out of the tub. Needs to be adjusted! Main reason I rented the cabin! The property was extremely unattractive.

My goodness, I would love to meet Cathy in person. I spoke with her on the phone, and she has the sweetest, nice personality you ever want to hear. She is her Cottage, it makes her, and she makes up for it. The Cottage was very impressive, marvelous, exceptionally appealing. I did not expect it to be so comforting, having all the amenities as if you were at home. I wanted to stay an extra night, one day I plan to stay longer. There is nothing you'll have to ask for. Everything is right written down, explained, supplied. There is two heaters, an air conditioner even though one's not needed in Big Bear. The Cottage is Miraculous, I cannot put it any other way. The guy at the off site office was really helpful, going out of his way to make sure that we got our room. They go way out of their way for their guest. Thank you Cathy, for a wonderful STAY at your Cottage Home. Will visit again. Semi Benson & George Level P. S. We left the place just like when we arrived, but if I could, I would have changed the linen.

That the office is not on the property. Also, the fact that you have to confirm your stay online, 24 hour before your arrival, and to sign the agreement online. But all was worth it.

We loved the spa bath!!!!!

It needs to be updated. The bed is so bad that our backs were hurting us for two days and the love seat sunk in.

Room was a good size very clean and having a spa in the room with a fire place was great. Shower with good water flow and having very HOT water was a plus. Parking spot right in front of your room was very helpful.

The Wi-Fi sucked. I assume it’s because we were in the mountains but we couldn’t watch anything on the Wi-Fi.

What a great little place. Excellent location and a great price for what you get.

POSITIVES: The cottage had ample room for a couple, the spa was a nice addition, parking directly in front of the cottage was convenient and the cable/wi-fi was good. The bathroom was very large, Also, for the most part it was very quiet and we were able to enjoy down time without a lot of neighbor or street noise.

NEGATIVES: There was definite smell as you walk into the "kitchen" area and grew much more intense when you entered the bathroom/shower. Found long strands of hair throughout, specifically on the living area lamp shade, on the bathroom sink and in the shower. While the king bed was comfortable, it was extremely difficult to get out of. Also, the couch is very dirty and spotted.

The decor was so cute and old fashioned but completely updated. It was very clean and had most everything we needed. The staff was so accommodating and helpful . It was pretty quiet and relaxing.

Everything was great! Next time we will bring paper towels to help clean after ourselves, or to set under drinks. We will visit again!

Owner was very responsive and communicative and helped with check in. Overall located in a nice area, there’s a circle k right across the street in walking distance and has a Redbox outside that was convenient because the room had a DVD player. The room itself had a homey feeling to it but does have outdated furniture. The room we stayed in included the jacuzzi/spa bath and it was spacious enough for 2 people, and there’s a gas fire place right in front of it to keep you warm. We visited in September and the weather was perfect, hottest it got was in the low 80s. No A/C in the room but it’s not needed, just open the windows and turn on the fans and your room will stay cool. I did love the shower, it’s big enough for 2 people and has 2 shower heads on opposite sides. The room included a mini fridge and microwave as well, a sink next to the fridge area to wash any dishes you may have. The room also included a small table with 2 chairs which was nice to eat dinner on. Overall a cozy property to stay at, a bit pricey so I would recommend going if you had a special occasion to celebrate.

The only thing I didn’t like was the bed and pillows, bed was a memory bed I think and it was too hard for my liking and pillows were too flat and used. I would defiantly recommend bringing your own pillow if you have a picky neck/back like me! My husband liked the bed but everyone has their own opinions!

The location in proximity with the lake was good. The cottage was cozy and quaint.

The noise of the traffic. Also, there was a residence across the street that had barking dogs at all hours. One even got out of the fenced yard and came over to me. Thankfully it did not harm me and walked away. The large shower head did not work. The ceiling fan had accumulated a lot of dust. The jacuzzi tub sagged in the middle and consequently never drained empty...so Thankfully I brought some lysol disinfectant wipes to clean. We were never offered to have fresh towels or linens to be replaced after spending one week there.

Really Nice Stay. Jacuzzi and Showers worked great. Good location as well.

Some of the furniture could be updated, but no deal-breaker.
