A stunning villa next to beautiful Tourrettes-sur-Loup. Walking distance to the village where you will find good restaurants and shops for top ups after supermarket shopping depending on your group. We were 10 and the home accommodated us without any problem. Very well equipped kitchen and furnished to a very high standard by the owner Andrea. Andrea is a lovely lady and lives locally. Her help and knowledge is unsurpassed and communication is fantastic. I can recommend this villa to anyone. Yes, the access to the property is restricted to certain width cars but we parked 2 cars just down the road in the general car park without any problems and it is free. The parking bays are wider than we have in the UK! When you arrive after a very long journey by car as we did the views and property are worth it. Lovely villa, owner, location, what more do you want!

A hidden gem with a warm welcome from Andrea (owner of the villa). We were a party of 8 adults - this was a family trip to celebrate end of exams/graduations etc…., out party comprised of predominantly young adults with Mum & Dad! All of us enjoyed the peace, the birdsong, the stunning views and sunsets from the terrace, the rooms, the beautiful gardens, the swimming pool and the easy walk into the stunning historical village of Tourrettes-sur-Loup.
From drives into the mountains, swims in lakes, visits to various villages and towns (including Grasse) in the local area, train trips to Nice and Monte Carlo, beach stops at Antibes and Cannes-sur-Mer and several delicious meals out in the village, a stay at La Plantade certainly gives you the opportunity to relax and recharge whilst enjoying the French Riviera. Andrea was extremely helpful pre-trip with information and advice - responding to emails promptly. During our stay Andrea was always available for advice, support and local recommendations.
La Plantade is a winner and definitely worth repeating!
Thank you x

Andrea, the home owner, went above and beyond to make us comfortable. She bought us two adapters as we are from the US and our plugs did not fit. She also arranged a lovely woman to come in and cook dinner for us one night and since that woman needed help, Andrea even stayed to help serve. The house has the most beautiful view from the patio and we enjoyed many evenings out there. The walk to the village is short ( didn’t find the passage that avoids the road until a few days in). I must say the driveway is very narrow, as warned by others, but we had a 6 passenger car and it just fit. We had to get out and guide it in. All in all Andrea was so personable and welcoming and we feel like we made a new friend.

I really can't put into words how wonderful our stay was at this gorgeous home, but I'll try. My family (7 adults) just spent two weeks in Tourrettes-sur-Loup and enjoyed every second of it, largely because this house and property are stunning, and Andrea was an amazing source of information and advice during our stay. The photos of La Plantade simply cannot do it justice. The home is full of art, sculptures, books (many from the 1700s), and French charm. Gorgeous roses and herbs tumble from every corner of the garden and being able to use them to decorate and cook was an incredible treat. The village (literally a 3-minute walk) with its excellent bakery, grocery stores, butcher, wine shops, and amazing restaurants was picture perfect. I felt like we just spend 2 weeks on a movie set, but it was real! Saying that we ate well would be the understatement of the century. And the location makes it possible to go on so many day excursions - Nice, Antibes, Grasse, Monaco, Italy, and Vence just to name a few. There are ancient and well-traveled hiking trails all over the place, which is an added bonus. Andrea even found a local to take two of us on an incredible bike trek - what an experience! I highly recommend this property (and Andrea!)! You will be in for a vacation of a lifetime. Thank you, Andrea!

Great location, easy 5 min stroll intoTSL, Andrea is a wonderful host and the house is clearly a much loved home - spacious, great artwork and the pool, patios and gardens are lovely. We had a great time and would certainly return. Highly recommended. Kay and Tim

A group of nine women traveled from the United States to Nice, France. The villa we chose, La Plantade, has stunning views, beautiful art, and is well located near the village of Tourrettes sur Loup. Quite walkable to enjoy an early breakfast of chocolate, croissant and espresso.
The villa owner, Andrea, Agrell, communicated clearly and quickly with our group. She recommended several of the medieval villages nearby, even driving a couple of our group to visit them, while others remained at the Villa to relax.
We have not even been home a week, and we all miss this place. Beautiful rosebushes, fresh herbs, and stunning views from the terrace will lift your spirit. Many thanks to our host!

Stayed here as part of our trip for the Rugby World Cup. 9 people altogether over the 5 bedrooms which worked perfectly. Social areas inside and outside were excellent and the pool a great size to have a bit of fun with. Tourrettes-sur-loup is a great village too with local walks, great restaurants and access from there into the moutains as well as days to the beach. Perfect for us!

We had a great week in Tourettes-sur-loop. The villa has stunning views of the village, hills and down to the coast and you can enjoy these from the lovely terrace and pool, set in a beautiful garden. The house is traditional and has some minor quirks, like a cat (who was very laid back and no trouble) but overall it's stunning.
You are just a short walk from the village which has a variety of shops, restaurants and a great ice cream shop. There's plenty of things to do within a fairly short car journey, although some of these will involve a few hair-raising hairpin bends.
The access to the villa is so narrow at one bit that you will need help to guide your car up - we managed a Peugeot 308(just) but mostly we parked just down the road at the free car park. Andrea, the owner, is very helpful and knowledgeable about the villa, the village and the wider area. She very kindly brought us bread, cheese and croissants on our first morning and gave us plenty of useful suggestions for excursions. It is a fabulous place to spend a week and we'd happily recommend.

La Plantade is a lovely spacious house with stunning gardens and outdoor space. From the sofas on the terrace the view is magnificent - one can even see the sea.
It is only a short walk into the village where there is a very good bakery, numerous restaurants and a great market on a Wednesday morning.
Andrea is a wonderful host - she could not have been more generous and attentive.
A marvellous place to stay and relax.

We were a group of 4 seniors who expanded to 6 for a few days and found the layout of this gorgeous home perfect for three couples including two married and one father and grown daughter. The 3 floor layout allowed my handicapped hubby and myself to reside on the main living level and walk down a gentle slope with smooth pavers to our rental car —- which should be very narrow or you must be an excellent driver due to exceptionally narrow road access for a few feet at the start. Our family shared the double studio with contained kitchenette and the father/daughter found privacy in the level above the ground floor. Being in a genuine (and very much loved-for) villa of the area furnished with romantic and very comfy period pieces, and having Andrea the owner available to assist whenever needed does not compare to any other experience we have had before. Being local and speaking several languages fluently made communicating with Andrea easy as there was no confusion from a language barrier. She was very attentive to my husbands needs offering us assistance from her local helpers should we need it. And the views of Tourette’s and all the way 180 degrees to the Nice shoreline were spectacular changing with every hour of the day … and no two skylines were the same. We cannot wait to plan our return to this home in this location and are confident that even the most discriminating and experienced traveler will be pleased with choosing this property for their holiday. It’s prime location allowed us to travel in all directions for day trips and return to complete serenity and beauty every evening. The sunshine pours into the home from all directions and so do the views of the surrounding landscape. This is our sixth visit to this area and by far and away the best home for us.

The Villa was amazing! It was more beautiful in person. There was plenty of room and comfort for all six of us. I really liked how it felt like a home and had such character. We oved the artwork and the furnishings. The energy in the Villa was hospitable and inviting. We enjoyed being outside during the warmer part of the day and even braved a quick dip in the pool after some yoga that I enjoyed poolside. There are multiple places to sit to eat or read outside. I imagine it would be even more enjoyable during the summer months. Andrea provided great communication about arrival, expectations, many beautiful sites and things to do in the area and departure. We enjoyed talking with her and she was so willing to assist in making our stay memorable. We liked that Andrea was so energy conscious assisting us in ways to conserve where possible. Andrea was so helpful and arranged reservations for us on our last night for dinner when we were weary from packing to leave. We cooked dinner most nights at the Villa and went into town to get bakery items most mornings. The village was picturesque and I could imagine what it was like during those originating times! The people in the village we encountered were very friendly and seemed to appreciate our meager attempts to speak French when interacting. The Wednesday market was fantastic, I especially liked the fruit, jams, honey, soap, books, jewelry and clothing they offered. I wish we could have stayed longer and hope to be back again in the future.

This vacation was truly one for the record books - absolutely incredible! We made the trek across the globe from Seattle with our 3 children (all under 4 years old), and we were well rewarded for the ambition: we had the most wonderful time in every way. The town is one of the most perfect little villages we’ve ever stayed in, complete with amazing food, fine artisan products, and great pastries. Andrea’s property felt truly palatial: a wonderful Provence villa that has it all: the views, the stonework, the pool, the lawns, all of it. To make it even better, this is a lived in and loved home, not a sterile rental. It is filled with original artwork, antique pieces, and a fully stocked kitchen built over years, if not decades.
But the coup de grace was the hostess: Andrea left no stone unturned in her efforts to make our stay amazing: she provided travel cribs (“cots” to the British I’m told, pack’n’plays to us state-siders), boundless advice and resources for exploring the region, and even grocery shopped for us so we’d have the basics upon arrival since we were coming in so late (this was truly an extra - above and beyond - so not implying this should be expected in the future, but it does show the level of her intent to take care of all details). Andrea even had the pool fence installed given our very small children. We cannot say enough good things - thank you again Andrea!
Only difficulty for us was parking: the lane up to the house is NARROW, and I mean it. Our car was physically too wide to fit between the stone walls. Not a big deal because there is a huge free parking lot right at the bottom of the hill (few hundred yards away at most), but still worth noting. A smaller car would likely fit, but our Volkswagen Tuareg could not.
Again, fully 5 stars for every aspect of this trip: we will absolutely be returning. Thank you again Andrea!!!!

We had a really lovely stay over Christmas at 'La Plantade'. The house is very comfortable and well laid out, with a great terrace on which we ate breakfast everyday (in December!). The view was incredible! The kitchen is a little small, but extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need, and proved actually to be a very nice place in which to cook. The owner is super friendly and gave us lots of good tips for walking, shopping and eating out. I did not brave the swimming pool, but I imagine it would be perfect in the hotter months. The village of Tourrettes sur Loup is pretty perfect - beautiful to walk around and with a nice amount of useful shops and restaurants. My 3 kids (young adults) loved the open-to-all football pitch with sea view. There are wonderful walks right on the doorstep. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful area to explore. The house is typical of the area with lovely external lights that come on when dark that make it magical
House well equipped and homely
Well Maintained garden and plenty of seating areas outside to enjoy. Owner very helpful and knowledgeable about local area and events

We stayed in the house in october. The place was a perfect accomodation for us and our two "kids" (20 and 22 years) + partners and our dog Baldur. Lots of space and many cosy arrangements to sit and eat or play. The garden is private with many herbs, if you are interested in provencial cooking.
The surroundings are beautiful. The village is really nice with good local foodshops and restaurants. You can do a lot of activities. We did cycling and hiking in the mountains. Tennis and boules in the village. One day trips to Nice and Monaco.
Andrea the host can help with information about anything you ask for. We would like to go there again, as we did not have time to do all the interesting things, that Tourettes and surroundings offer.

We just returned from 2 wonderful weeks in Tourettes sur loup. The location of the house was incredibly convenient, we walked into the village within minutes to buy croissants at Chez Mami or dine at several of the charming restaurants. Our favorites were La Cave, L’Ami Paul, and Cinq. We spent so much time on the terrace overlooking Tourettes. Whether it was breakfast or dining or simply having appetizers we couldn’t get enough of the vista.
We took day trips to Aix, Nice, Menton, Antibes,Gourdon and of course St Paul de Vence. Each excursion was terrific.
Finally I want to praise Andrea, our host, who was so helpful and attentive to our needs. Thank you soooo much!

Enjoyed our holiday in Tourettes sur loup, our favourite French unspoiled village.Lovely location and gardens. Many lovely antiques and paintings in a rustic feel. spacious interior for 10, except very small kitchen. Extremely attentive host. We topped up pool often due to leak. Drain cover outside studios in need of resealing. Unexpected addition of owners resident cat who we fed and medicated.

The house is in a great location and we were able to walk easily to the village. The outdoor seating areas were ideal for large groups with ample room for everyone to spread out and find their own space.

Wonderful house in a wonderful village
Fantastic experience from start to finish. The house is so comfortable, charming, with a great pool in walking distance to the beautiful medieval village.
Property owner Andrea was incredible before and during the trip - so helpful in making sure our trip was as good as can be, including great recommendations for restuarants and things to do.
Tourrettes is a really great village - plenty to see and do but very relaxed and charming without the tourist bustle of some other towns near there - we were smitten with it all and will be back!
(I can also confirm that the driveway is VERY tight. It is doable and gets easier but zero room for error)

Les Plantades at Tourette
Lovely hot week mostly in the pool with the little children. Tourette is a lovely old village with all the basics plus an art community in the medieaval town. A 10 minute walk in every morning for shopping and a cafe or go in the evening for a wide choice of excellent restaurants.
All good, very good.

Amazing views and perfect location
We had the perfect family trip at Andrea’s beautiful home just outside the village of Tourettes Sur Loop-a quick 10 minute walk. The views are amazing, so many outdoor spaces to enjoy with family. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our family of 10 with 2 babies-Andrea set up a crib for our 2 year old. The house has everything you need. We grilled out several days and walked into town for a delicious meal. Don’t miss the farmers market on Wednesdays! The main grocery store is only a 5 minute drive but the village has an amazing bakery and lots of wonderful shops. Perfect location to explore Nice, St Paul de Vence, Cannes, National Park hikes and more! We would love to return in the future! Thanks so much, Andrea, for all the little touches like setting the dining table for our meals and shopping for us
One note: there is a cat who lives on property-my son is allergic so Andrea sent it to the neighbor’s, which we appreciated.

One of A Kind Artistic Stone House
Located a 10 minute walk to nontouristy, quiet Tourettes Sur Loup, this high standard home overlooking the amenity-filled village is a bespoke sanctuary after a day’s adventure exploring close by Nice, and other Côte d’Azur villages. The home is filled with fabulous original contemporary and traditional art and old world charm oozing out of every corner. Beds are comfy. Geraniums and herbs flow from terracotta pots on the porch where you dine alfresco while watching the sunset as your kids swim in the pool below. Hiking nearby where 200+ sheep graze is a must do- 280* views to the Mediterranean Sea. Andrea, our host, gave us a warm welcome with cappuccino and pasties and was available for vacation ideas and a resource when we needed a flat tire fixed. This is a lovingly kept home. Enjoy!

Characterful property in a great location
We stayed at Andrea’s house for 2 blissful weeks in August. The house was fabulously located - only 5 mins walk into a village with good bakeries and 5 or 6 excellent restaurants.
Andrea’s home is full of character and furnished to a very high quality - it feels very much like a home rather than a holiday let. The garden is beautifully maintained by Andrea and a team of gardeners who visit weekly.
Andrea was a delightful host; she met us when we arrived and was very communicative both before and throughout our stay.

we were as a tour group of 8 people for a week in andrea agrell's villa in tourrettes-sur-loup.
the spacious house offers everything you need for a cozy and relaxing time, lots of space, covered seating and a wonderful pool. we were able to move around as we pleased and enjoyed our stay. the daily shopping trips to the nearby bakery in the pretty little village and for larger purchases by car 5 minutes outside of the village were extremely uncomplicated.
the villa offers more than enough space to feel comfortable and it is highly recommended if you like to be alone and enjoy the advantages of the cote d'azur.
day trips to the beach or the nearby larger towns are easy, you can expect a journey time of around 30 minutes.
andrea made the check-in very easy for us and she takes good care of her jewel. we hope there will be another opportunity to visit this beautiful property for a break and to enjoy and relax.
thanks for everything andrea,
best regards

The house was very beautiful, with a great location really close to both stores, restaurants and the cutest village. We had some bad luck with plumbing durting our stay, but otherwise we were ver content with the trip and Andreas beautiful house.

Stunning location, with a superb view of the medieval village of Tourrettes Sur Loup, the surrounding countryside and also the Med! What more could you ask for.The house has absolutely everything you need for a family holiday, comfortable, clean and authentic. Really well equipped and there is even a nespresso coffee machine, you just need to take your nespresso capsules! The pool is wonderful and the gardens are lovely. The terraces and seating areas make the most of the views, sunshine and ambiance of the wonderful location. The village is a short walk from the property and is extremely pretty, historical and has lots of cafes, restaurants a butcher, baker, greengrocer and a small convenience store. My husband even had his haircut in the village. I have seen on previous reviews that the short lane to the property is very narrow. This is true, it is very narrow at one pinch point. We manged to get in and out at least twice per day with a Landrover Discovery. A person needed to guide the driver from outside of the car, but it was easily done with no scratches to the vehicle or damage to the walls on either side. We were very good at it by the end of two weeks. If you don't fancy this test of judgement each day, there is a free car park 50m from the entrance to the lane that leads to the house. So a maximum of a 100m walk from the car park into the door of the actual property. We were a group of 8, 4 adults and 4 teenagers - it was perfect and we'd definitely stay in this property again. Andrea also provided lots of information on activities to do in the area and places to see, but to be honest it was just so relaxing chilling at La Plantade playing in the pool and enjoying the views!

We had a wonderful time in Tourrettes-sur-Loup. Andrea’s home was beautiful, clean, and we had plenty of space for the 6 of us. The house has everything you need. The walk to town was easy . We enjoyed waking up in the morning to walk to town to get croissants and baguettes. The house is in a great location, we did day trips to Nice, Monaco, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat,Gordon Verge, Antibes, a day drive through the Alps and shopping in St. Paul Vence.
There is a large grocery store just a short drive away.
We at dinner in town at the Medieval which was good.
There are so many options for things to do or your just can relax at the house and take in the views.
Andrea was always quick to respond, and pleasant to deal with. We would highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic house in fantastic area
Renting Andrea’s property was the perfect vacation experience for us. The house is magical and the area is fantastic. All the art pieces and decorations of the house makes it a wonder to walk around in and around, the pool area is lovely and the views are spectacular.
If the house is not enough for you to hang out in the village is just a five minute walk away and it has a good variation of restaurants.
Being a big fan of the region since before I really couldn’t have come to a better place and I know my travel companions share this view. I had an absolutely amazing time there and can’t wait to go back.

Wonderful villa in beautiful location
We have just had a wonderful family holiday in this villa. We were a party of eight adults and a two year old and the house still seemed spacious. The villa is full of character and the gardens are beautifully kept. We had our meals on the terrace from where we had spectacular views of the Mediterranean and the beautiful village of Tourettes sur Loup. The villa is in a superb position being a very short walk from the village centre. We were delighted to find that there was a small playground, basketball court and table tennis tables within 100 metres of the property. The medieval village was bigger than we'd imagined and absolutely charming. Our host, Andrea provided us with a wealth of information about the villa and things to do in the area. We brought toys and inflatables for the pool with us but needn't have bothered as these were also provided. Previous occupants have mentioned the narrow drive. Our son managed it comfortably in a Citroen C3 and we took a bit longer in a 7 seater Zafira but there is a free car park very close by for those not wanting this particular challenge.
All in all a superb property in a fantastic location which we wholeheartedly recommend.

A nice vacation in Tourrettes
The house is well located with a beautiful view of the village. The village is within walking distance which is very practical. The house itself is very special, beautifully decorated and with real personal touches. The pool and the garden are perfect. All appliances and linen is available in sufficient quantities. The beds are good quality. We were 9 people, 6 adults and 3 children and everybody was confortable and private. During the very warm periods air conditioning was available and working. The landlady is a very welcoming and friendly. The only two slightly negative points were : there were road works in the village which were very noisy. There are some issues with water seapage in the garage and one of the studios downstairs which require attending to. We shall come back for sure.

Luxury private villa
What a fantastic property in a wonderful location.
The outside space was superb, wonderful terraces overlooking the old town, wrap around garden with always a spot of shade and an amazing pool.
With 5 bedrooms it was a most spacious property.
Tourrettes-sur-Loup was a short walk away with an array of eateries , a beautiful town and we made the most of the Wednesday market.
Andrea was a fantastic host most communicative and shared lots of useful information.
A memorable family holiday.

Superb location
We´ve had a wonderful week at La Plantade. Our first, second and third priority when booking a vacation home is proximity to restaurants, bakeries, cafés etc. and La Plantade delivered in spades. The walk into Tourrettes-sur-loup is both short and beautiful, and we found ourselves going back and forth several times a day just to get a baguette or a glass of wine - just how we like it. Our rental car got hardly any mileage added.
The house itself is nice, with a beautiful garden and lovely views. Bathrooms are of a previous generation, but we chalked it up to charm and hardly noticed. We spent most of our time outside either way.
Andrea is a first class hostess and kept in touch throughout our stay, always responsive and helpful

If possible I would give more than 5 stars
This is a wonderful property, with its great views of the Mediterranean Sea and close proximity to a wonderful little town, it was the perfect place. Nicely decorated and very comfortable. My sisters and I truly enjoyed our stay. Andrea was very helpful and supplied us with much information regarding the area including the 1 star Micheline restaurant in town. Should we decide to come back to the Nice area, we would most definitely stay again.

Stunning villa in Tourettes-Sur-Loup
The villa very much exceeded our expectations and we absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back. Every detail is thought of and the house is so comfortable that it's easy to spend time there. The patio has magnificent views of the valley and mountains and is perfect for a sunset bbq. The village is a mere 5 minute walk away and has many lovely restaurants and bars (definitely go to The Cave).
We often traveled into Nice which is an easy 25 minute drive. The Monday antique market is a must visit.
Andrea is a fabulous host and shared all her knowledge about the area and it's surrounds, which was very helpful.
Thanks for an amazing stay!

A Beautiful Home Filling Us With Perfect Memories
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, everything was more than we could have ever hoped for - from the beautiful house and gardens, which are impeccably maintained, to the idyllic village only a few moments' walk away. This is one special place made even better by the warm welcome we received.
On top of it all, we were able to drive easily to the mountains for some wonderful skiing. Sea views and snow in February - now that is not something you get everyday!
All in all, the family loved it and we can't wait to come again.
