The staff was super nice. The rooms were nice and clean. It was in a perfect location to where we needed to be.
I would really like it if there were extra blankets or thicker comforters.

Staff was great, food was good, and the hotel was clean. After checkout, they called me to let me know I left something in the room and wanted to make sure they could get it returned to me.
Fitness room was a bit small and only had dumbbells and a few cardio machines. Walls were a little thin. Conversations and singing from neighboring rooms at 6:30 am was fairly noticeable and a bit annoying.

Super clean. Smelled amazing.
Pool was out of order. A little sad about that.

Newer building
Rooms are too cramped
Breakfast is overpriced at $15 a person
Price is more than the stay is worth.

Spacious room, comfy bed, carpet looked new and great water pressure in the shower. An abundance of towels which is rare. I liked the soap and shampoo bottles on the wall instead of bar soaps. Hotel is directly across from the Veterans Sports Complex and a few blocks from A&M. Super friendly staff, Mary was exceptional. Will definitely stay again.
Old lamps with dingy lighting. These seriously need updating! No lighting over the bathroom sink. Was not impressed with the breakfast for the price but I didn't walk away hungry. Fresh fruit was a nice touch though.

location was good

The hotel was over booked, and the staff did nothing at all to try and fix it. They just gave us a smaller room, never offered to refund the difference in prices, even after we asked

There honestly was not much that I liked or that blew me away during this stay.
I selected these because of several reasons. 1.) When I arrived at the Hilton Garden Inn located in College Station, the front desk staff was not there, so I had to be checked in by the bartender and a lady from sales (both of these ladies were extremely nice, but they had no idea what they were doing) and as such, it took us almost 20 minutes to be checked in. 2.) After I was checked in and as I was getting comfortable in my room, the front desk (the lady who was actually supposed to be there) put someone in my room while I was in there. Imagine how embarrassing it was for me to open the door to someone who thought that my room was their room. I then received a call on the room phone and the front desk was very rude in asking who I was and why I was there. 3.) I was awoken twice during the night, the first time at around midnight to softball players running up and down the hallways and the second time when the family next to my room woke up at 3:30 in the morning and were loudly slamming doors and drawers in addition to loudly speaking to each other. Finally 4.) when I was packing my items to leave, I noticed that not only were the walls patched and textured in numerous locations, there were numerous different paints on the walls in addition to the windows being so dirty it was hard to see out of.
In summation, I understand repairs to the walls and the ladies filling in for the front desk; however, I felt that I would have received the same level of service at a Motel 6 and would have received a room of the same quality at a Motel 6. The price that I paid for one night is outrageous considering that I did not receive a good night's rest and the service I received from the front desk. I am not sure that I will stay in a Hilton or any of its chains again after this. I attempted to bring all of this up when I checked out, but the lady at the front desk was not interested in talking, she was more concerned about whether I wanted my receipt printed or emailed.

The bed was comfortable.
The food was not good. Cold, bland eggs, bacon was rubbery because cold, coffee ran out for a while, creamer was gross and wouldn't pump properly because it was thick or wrong consistency. . The apple juice tasted carbonated/gone bad. We opted to leave the hotel the second morning to get a better breakfast.
