The employees were great! Super friendly and accommodating.
The room should have 2 comfortable chairs to sit and watch tv and there should be liquid coffee creamer and stevia

Good location
I was charged twice for my stay and the house staff could not figure out why this happened. My credit card company is now dealing with it. The hospital is run by young, inexperienced front house staff without an onsite manager on duty during certain hours. Nothing can get escalated outside of business hours. Windows were old and drafty. Television broke twice during my two day stay. The window side of my room was freezing. No room service, parking not onsite. The VIP lounge was a joke; don’t pay for this extra service. The bartender in the restaurant could not handle the seven customers at the bar and I waited over twenty minutes for a menu and water.

First it was $75 for my pet plus an incidental fee. Then the parking spot is two blocks away. Anytime I needed to leave the room I would have a four block trip to put my dog in the vechicle. Then I was on the 12th floor but the elevator would only go to the 6th floor. I told the front desk this and they said, "huh" I got my $75 pet fee returned. Never even saw the room I paid $150 for.

I loved this hotel!! Everything about it was top notch. Our room was on the ninth floor, and was huge! Nice very comfortable king bed, fridge, large TV, tub… and the view of downtown was amazing! I was hesitant about booking when reading some of the reviews, but so glad I did! The entire hotel was clean and beautiful. And the climbing gym was really cool! Made me wish I was a climber!
The parking garage is a bit of a walk, but it’s not bad. They have valet if you need it.

Breakfast portions could serve a small army! (not negative but should have a kids portion!)

The decor style is impressively cool, exuding a blend of Western contemporary vibes. Our accommodation was a King suite on the 16th floor, while our daughter opted for a standard king room on the 12th floor. Upon entering the lobby and our room, my immediate reaction was a resounding "wow!"—impressed by the chic aesthetics. The staff proved exceptionally helpful and polite, and the pet-friendly policy was a definite plus. The bed offered excellent comfort, and amenities included a quality makeup mirror, dryer, iron, robes, slippers, as well as a functional fridge, sink, and microwave. Notably, the hotel surpassed others in terms of cleanliness.
The Whitney parking charges $5 per night, conveniently located a block from the hotel, but it did raise safety concerns. I recommend choosing Eldorado for a more secure option. During our wait for my husband, a homeless man entered the valet lobby and slept on the luggage cart, despite the discomfort of paying customers. We faced elevator issues, getting stuck on random floors, with conflicting explanations from maintenance and the front desk. Maintenance said it was mechanical and front desk said it was our cards. Despite a 15-minute delay to reset our cards, we just wanted to reach our room after a long trip. The room's decor was impressive, though the green contemporary chair was noticeably dirty. Old-style flick switches for lights and malfunctioning outlets were a downside, so bringing your own USB is advisable. Construction noise at 9 am disturbed our sleep, triggering our dog's barking. While the hotel and gym are dog-friendly, the restaurant isn't, likely due to past complaints; however, adding outdoor seating for dogs could boost business.

Restaurant on site with good food, open all day. Staff helpful. Left bags with valet last day without incident. We chose it because of no smoking and no gambling on site. Indoor climbing facility appeared well maintained.
Room was cold because of leaky windows. Furniture in room sparse and uncomfortable. Lighting in room was either too bright or too dark. Fan for heater started up frequently because of leaky windows and was noisy. Bathtub drain slow. Overall, room was tired and in need of updates.

Clean and comfortable, large room with everything you need.
As a single female, I hated the parking situation. I ended up paying the extra $20 for a few days just so I didn’t have to walk from the creepy garage to the hotel at night. The cafe hours are a bummer. Not open during lunch and no bar open late on property.

Excellent location. Was able to walk almost everywhere we needed.
Gym facilities were great.
Nice view from our window and room was nice sized + and staff was friendly and accommodating. Also the hotel itself felt safe, elevators only worked if you had a keycard.
Shower was old and dingy, with some of the paint peeling. Largest light in our room didnt work.

no smoking. no casino. friendly, helpful staff.
valet staff needs to pay closer attention to people arriving or waiting to get their cars instead of standing around talking.

I got the King Suite and it is beautifully decorated but things are a little outdated. For example, there were no USB ports to charge phone next to bed and the outlets were difficult to get to. All the outlets in the room were in weird places. Same with the lights: the switches were hard to find or on the lamp itself...there were like 10 different switches to turn on. Barely any of the lights were activited by groups. Kind of strange. Room was nice but left us wanting a little more convenience.

Love that it's non-smoking. Great food choices. Generally comfortable and clean. I didn't use the amenities much but it was very easy to get to places in downtown reno.
My bed was terrible. My friends didn't seem to have the same problem, but my mattress was thin and very uncomfortable.

The room was clean.
The air conditioning was very loud as was the fan in the bathroom. The hotel location is in an area where homeless were laying around, vomiting and urinating.

Location is great and staff is friendly.
The room smelled like dirty carpet and the air conditioning vent was filthy.
