The room was great just didn't know there was no ac in the room but we made do with the box fan..
No air conditioner

Excellent staff. Beautiful views. We’ll stocked kitchen. Comfortable. Worth the cost.
This particular unit could use some TLC- carpets cleaned, replace bathroom door that had separated, just general up keep. I understand it is a rental though.

Awesome view, great location, comfortable clean rooms, 24hr access to pool, spa, and game room. Less than an hour from many fun attractions
No air conditioning

pretty views
tv did not work it was nothing but static. not very sound proof could hear our neighbors above us stomping around. I would recommend getting a top floor.

Proximity to the ski resorts was good. The view was pretty. The room was pretty big and it had amenities, like washer/dryer and a full kitchen.
Honestly don't really have much that I didn't like. The walls were a little thin, but that's how most hotels are.
4.0
Clean rooms, friendly staff, clean facility, and easy late check-in process.
Jacuzzi in the room did not work but I understand that there is current renovations in process.

View was beautiful. Very nice staff in the office. Very nice bathroom upstairs.
Very outdated condo. Some things did not work. Lights ,
fan, door on downstairs bathroom to name a few. Uneven floors, rotten wood outside of unit. Needs to be remodeled.

View was great, staff was friendly and helpful. Price was fair.
Room was not very clean. Looked like it had a very quick once over.

Our 16-person group stayed in 2 apartments at the Highlands to go skiing at Sugar. For the cost, this place absolutely exceeded expectations. The view (see pictures) was spectacular, the extra blankets/bedding for the couch beds were great, and it was easy access to skiing (4 min drive or there was even a shuttle!). We used the kitchens to cook and they were in great working condition. We also loved the heated indoor pool (goes to 8 ft deep!) and the hot tub - it was a great place to hang out in the evenings.
The main building with the pool/hot tub could stand to be renovated, but it does seem like it is kept up well and cleaned. Shower water pressure wasn't extremely high but no big deal. Would have liked maybe a few more towels for the pool, but we used it probably more than most guests.

furniture was very old. The unit was pretty cold since there was no isolation thru the windows and doors. there was no wood for the fireplace. saw and killed 2 creatures (never seen such things, bigger than a spider).

the tv has a lot of static

Love the location and the amenities it had to offer.
It was a bit outdated and not as advertised. I booked a 2 king bed with 2 sofa beds. Pictures showed an “updated” apartment. After being called twice to confirm my reservation and I calling to see if I can check in early, told our room will not be ready till check in. It wasn’t ready and got an outdated 1 King 2 twins 2 sofa beds and was told it was a 1st come 1st serve.

was not cleaned before we checked in!! Told front desk they never did anything or sent anyone to clean it. We were on a basement level room. Snow and ice thick in parking area on steps to our room!! They really need to do better upkeep of this place!! Had a stranger knock on our door at night saying he was a employee there. Said supervisor sent him!! Asked the front desk the next day they said they never sent anyone out!! Was definitely not worth what we paid to stay there!! Will not be back!!

Location was great. Beautiful view of the mountains from the deck. It was close to Grandfather Mountain which was why we were there. Linens were clean and room had basic supplies provided.
The room was advertised to sleep 4 comfortably but the couch that was supposed to pull out was stuck. When we finally got it partially out we realized a lot of the springs were missing. The couch was very worn out. We did report it at the end of our stay. Other than that it was great!

The views were amazing from where I stayed. What really stuck out to me was the changing foliage. The room was full of comfortable amenities.
The only downside was the winding mountain roads. I did get turned around one time after sundown. That was the only downside that came to mind.

Beautiful view
Headboard was damaged, some of blinds were damaged.

great view from room and good kicthen.
Sofa bed was worst and could not be used for sleeping. I was with family of three and we all had to sleep on one king bed mostly spending sleepless night. I had reserved room for two days but checked out after first day due to this reason.
condition of Sofa bed and sofa chair looked like they were bought from junk. Do not use room 1-0-6 F

The condo is very dated. One thing that I saw right away was that the door had been kicked open at some point and there was a big crack around the doorknob and deadbolt. That didn’t inspire confidence to me. The place needs a facelift. We won’t stay again.

Great Mountain Views
furniture was not in good condition, decor was very 80's outdated

The view is absolutely stunning! I also love the game room and pool room are 24 access. It is also super quite!
The rooms have no AC so if you are out all day you come back to a warm room. But it doesnt take long to cool off once you open the door and put the fan in front of it.

Loved the location, easy to get to and close to so many sites, restaurants, etc.
It was very out-dated. Needs a LOT of work around and in the units.

The view and location were fantastic, even with the snowstorm coming through! Place was comfy and definitely fit everyone well (we had 6 of us and then one more who ended up joining us). We had a maintenance issue, and the staff was very friendly and wanting to help. Close to the mountain, just a bit of a haul to get alllll the way up!
The place itself was very hard to get to, especially in poor conditions (blizzard, fog, snow, windy roads). From the start, there were not enough blankets/pillows for everyone really, definitely was not well cleaned previously, and not ANY sort of cleaning supplies (no dish detergent, sponge, soap, etc.). Our shower had a HUGE patch in it, and did not work at all, ended up breaking and not being able to turn off... we called maintenance and luckily they came quickly, however we did not end up fixing the problem, just had to turn the water off so we had one shower for 6 people... not great. House did not hold the (much needed) heat very well since the doors were not sealed properly. We tried to go to the pool / game area one evening, and the game room smelled terrible - as if a baby had peed everywhere. Pool area was disgustingly damp and pretty sure the hot tub hadn't been cleaned in a LONG time... Overall, it was fine, but we probably would look elsewhere next time.

The view was amazing. the staff was very nice and helpful. The location was perfect. We were a mile from tubing, ice skating, and skiing. I think they are trying to update things inside the room. The master bath upstairs looked new, but they added a curtain instead of a glass door on the shower and the floor stayed wet.
the room was clean but a few things were broken. The foldout couch was horrible. My daughter can sleep almost anywhere and she complained so I know it had to be very uncomfortable. The indoor pool needed to be cleaned and ash pits were overflowing.

location
In need of repair, Kitchen floor low on one side, window cracked and taped with painters tape. No real trouble just a bit run down.

Location and view, but I knew that would be good when I chose this rental
There were no additional blankets of any kind at the property and it was very cold! the condo never got over 60 degrees with heat settings at maximum! TV was extremely poor, old with many channels that were noisy remote not functional; had to manually change channels at the TV set!

Beautiful view, hot tub is piping hot, two minute drive to the slopes. Great stay!
The pool is not heated

The view and location is amazing! Units are very nice and comfy. Easily accessible
Bed was not comfortable. Window shades and blinds need to be fixed. Fitness center equipment was broken, but room appeared to be going through renovation soon.

The view was spectacular!! The staff was very friendly and the condo was extremely clean! The location was perfect to go into Boone or Banner Elk and there was a lot to see and do in the immediate area.
The headboard was not attached to the bed. The bedroom was in the front of the condo and the blinds were a little broken, which made it uncomfortable to get dressed. The condo floors and the back side of the condo seemed to slope down.
