The view with the private beach was great, the place itself was pretty quiet. The room was smaller than expected but was perfect for the three of us since we only really used the room to sleep in. I thought we would be able to see the fireworks on the night that we stayed but I should have done more research because they were doing the ones we could see from the beach the night after our stay. But all in all would stay again
The only thing that I didn't like was the roll of toilet paper that was opened look as if someone cleaned off their needle in it, there were strange stains in the roll. I'm not sure if that's what happened but I didn't take the chance and just replaced it.

The ceiling is dirty. I requested for ground floor but they put us on 2nd floor. No tissue box! and only two toilet tissues provided! Very slim pillow

Smelled stale... eater stained ceiling.... horrible sunken mattress..... noisy "permanent residences".

Easy, no fuss stay. Internet worked well, staff were helpful. Free parking. Nice and central to Plattsburg. Bed was comfy

The room definitely dated but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The location was beautiful as well.
Every outside door has a half moon window located near the top and there were very bright outside lights just beside the room doors that made it almost impossible to sleep (it was basically full daylight inside all night long).

A good value, inexpensive motel. Clean. Has a kitchenette.
A little sketchy. People hanging out outside some of the other units smoking and in their pyjamas. I wouldn't leave anything unattended.

Clean. By the water. Chairs outside to sit and relax and see water. Windows open to let breeze in and hear water at night.
Smelt like smoke. Someone downstairs or in another room was smoking and I could smell it.

The location is nice. Private beach and McDonalds within walking distance.

I went for the location on a private, sandy beach. In reading other reviews my expectations were in line with what I found. I love the ‘family owned’ vibe and can cut a lot of slack for anyone who is trying to improve rather than selling out to a corporate chain. My bed and bathroom were spotlessly clean and that is what I care about most.
Would recommend cleaning the filters and vents in my room, they were a bit dusty and that can lead to motor problems in a/c and heaters. And the wifi was very sketchy in my room (far from the office). I was able to send some emails and that was all I needed.
