called ahead because we ran into problems and was going to be late. Had 2 rooms, my friend got there before me was on the reservation, and they didn't allow him to check in. had to goto a different hotel to get a room. so didn't even use one of the rooms.

Nice location. Attendant was courteous and respectful.

Floors are cold. No carpet.

This is one of those places where you think, “How in the hello is ANYONE leaving good reviews for this motel??" I'll tell you how: After the manager (owner?) read this review, he offered to comp us another room for another time (as long as it wasn't a Friday or Saturday- lol), or give us ONLY HALF of our money back! Lol! The floor was FILTHY, we had to wipe our feet off with a towel before getting into bed, the toilet leaked, there is mold all along the bottom of the shower, the mattress was terrible: I tossed and turned all night; I doubt I slept for 5 minutes and I even brought my own pillow. The coffee was undrinkable- I say this bc I put powder creamer in my cup and it never dissolved, it just floated on top of the coffee., no matter how many times I stirred it. I purposely picked this place bc of the decent reviews and it was a little pricier than other hotels/motels in the area (thinking it must be nicer since it cost more, silly me). The online pics are very deceiving. Funny story: the volume control on the TV remote didn’t work. We called the manager who came into our room to ‘fix’ it. He brought a different remote, turned up the volume for us and then left with the remote! 🤣🤣 There are no USB ports in the room, which would seemingly be an easy fix bc the lamps have AC plugs on the base. My advice: go with one of the chain places. We should’ve stayed at the Wyndham. It would’ve been cheaper and, I’m sure, much nicer.

Booking .com should be ashamed for allowing pictures to be used from 30 yrs ago!!! from its hey day. way too much money for this stay, it should be under 100.00 per nite!! this is not personal just FACTS.
