It was clean staff were extremely helpful

The mattress was a little uncomfortable but that was our only dislike

I had to ask each day for something they had run out of on the breakfast bar ; I will add the young man was very happy to cook additional items or fill the coffee carafe. Location is convenient, bed was very comfortable and room was quiet.

The cost had gone up from the last year when we stayed there.

Shower was filthy. the 1st thing one sees is that the mildew all over the bottom of the shower. All around the doors. Room 211. I had am AWFUL time trying to get someone to clean my room each day. One day I asked the front desk why for the 3rd time that week my room had not been cleaned.. The staff members couldn’t give me an answer. So I told her that I was going back out and to please have someone clean my room. She informed me that the housekeeping person had left at 11:30 to go home. I told her that I had left the hotel before 11:00. She asked the young man if he could go up and clean the room for me. He clearly was not happy about it. The desk personnel asked him twice and he just nodded his head. He was not happy with me. I get that the hotel is VERY old. It needs a major overhaul. The closet door was messed up. The room was not clean when I checked in. Carpet really needed to be vacuumed. The thermostat was awful to try and regulate. Breakfast was the best part of my stay and the bed was very comfortable

Best breakfast I've encountered in my latest travels. Fresh and great selection. I did find the excuse of not having something because of the pandemic a little tiresome.

Just a tad pricey ,but I guess that's what we get from our socialist leaders ha ha.
