Central location and staff were nice.

Old worn-out furniture, poorly maintained, smells like a motel in lobby, hallways, and rooms.

I like the location close distance to the ball field and restaurants. The room was a great size especially for my family.

Not enough space for people to eat during breakfast hours. Our room wasn't as clean as I would like.

1. there was no microwave in my room, i expected to use it as i was staying for 3 nights. 2. everywhere in google, booking.com, it clearly shows airport shuttle facility will be provided. however realized at last minute after calling the front desk, it was not the case. 3. shower head had super slow water flow in every setting.

No valet - had to pay to park in parking garage across the street - no shuttle as advertised due to staffing shortages. pool was in basement and not very inviting. no vending options except a few items they had behind a counter but staff didn’t have change to even break my $5 bill!!! ridiculous and definitely not worth the money!!

The location was great. The Des Moines Skywalk made everything in the downtown accessible and convenient, without having to brave the cold.

It was a bit pricier than we would have liked, but we were there for the NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament, so I wouldn't consider it excessive.

Cleanliness. The lady who was working was very nice and polite. I want to give her a big shout out. She took care of the TV that was working while I went to eat.

Has a nice lobby. Rooms were decent. Staff was friendly.

Went down 30 minutes into breakfast and there was barely anything. Pool is on the smaller size. You also have to pay $18 for parking a night, not included in the room price.

Very pleased with the room and access to downtown. The room was spacious and clean.

the room we had was super spacious. Very clean. the staff was very friendly and truly cared about their visitors. My sugar had dropped and lady behind the desk took care of purchasing the items I got herself. These simple gestures go along ways in my book. The breakfast had a true “home cooked” feel to it as the food serving area was not in steamers and ice - but in nice cookware which I’m assuming instead of adding food to it- this allows them to keep the food fresher by switching the pans out completely. There’s access to the skywalk which was great as we were going to Wells Fargo.

The only thing that I could possibly say and it couldn’t be changed - the parking lot across the street was quite small - if you have a larger vehicle it is a pretty tight fit.
