Literally a roach motel. There was hair from previous guest on the bathroom floor. Towels were dingy. The hallway my room was located in smelled very strongly of Marijuana.

They could have cleaned it.

I could not even stay the second night. I worked at a local hospital in the emergency room (I’m a nurse) and got off work in middle of the night. I planned to sleep a few hours before I drove the 1.5 hours home and the smell of marijuanna in the hallways and in my room made my husband and I nauseous. I cannot rest in those conditions.

The front desk guy, Pete, was very nice. They also provided a shuttle service to downtown, however when we called to pick us up there was no answer.

There were holes in all the linens from cigarette burns. There were stains on the walls with some unknown substance. We ended up using the room to change and have some drinks before the uga game and then ended up driving home. It was too gross to sleep there. Even 4 college aged boys with a room next to us said they were going to go buy sleeping bags at Walmart and sleep in the car.

The room was very outdated the door had cracks in it letting all the bugs and air in/out the bathroom was not clean the amenities were very outdated almost scared the hair dryer was going to catch fire if used . This place needs to be remodeled badly

Good food in continental breakfast. Room immaculately clean.

The couple in the room next to me were up fighting and throwing things most of the night.

Where do I start? The front desk person was pleasant enough, but before I ever got to my room he approached me and told me he had made a mistake with the room number. When I was assigned the new room my main concern was no smoking and I was told yes. What I wasn't told was I got switched from a king size bed to two full size beds. Wasn't the end of the world but it was not what I had booked. The worse part was the AC did not work. I was warm when I entered the room but it was set on 65. I turned it down to 60 and almost immediately fell asleep. I didn't sleep soundly and realized when I finally woke up that it was warmer in the room than when I fell asleep. When I mentioned to the staff in the morning during check out all I got was a shoulder shrug. I travel often for work and pleasure but will stay clear from Howard Johnson in the future unless they try to rectify this.

It was expensive due to graduation weekend and not a great value for a motel that needs some TLC.

The hallways and building were old and shabby. Other occupants were loud and inconsiderate. Coffee was not good, breakfast minimal.
