The location was fantastic, the bus stop was right outside and subway close by. There were many shops for groceries and a wide range of produce. I had the Bishop Suite which was plenty big enough for me as a solo traveller. I had a guest one night who used the sofa bed which apparently was extremely uncomfortable and had seen better days. The apartment was very nice and homely, I felt very relaxed and safe there. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was clean enough, with adequate space for my belongings. I would definitely return, it's a great find.
Some of the furnishings were not in good repair, curtains hanging down. The sofa was fine but as a sofa bed it was uncomfortable. I prefer a hob for cooking, but there was only a microwave. Cleaning wasn't carried out fully every day.

The Incentra Village Hotel is close to transportation, restaurants, museums, parks, and shops. Our suite had a small kitchen so we could make tea, coffee and heat take-out food. We had a front-facing room and it was quiet. On the first night the weather was very cold and the staff provided a space heater to help warm the room. Staff tidied the room and refreshed the linens daily. Incentra Village Hotel is a good option if you like a place with some character and want more space than a typical hotel room.
The stairs to the room were steep. The staff carried our luggage for us when we checked in and that was very helpful. The promotional material is clear that the hotel is in an old building and not ADA compliant, but we were surprised by the steep steps leading to out “first floor” room. This wasn’t a problem for us, but it might be for others. The light over the entrance door was out for the week we were there. We used our phone flashlight to make it easier to unlock the door, but without a light, this would have been a problem.

location was amazing, very close to restaurants/bars and the subway. super easy check in and check out process, staff very laid back and friendly, stored suitcases when we were leaving. room cleaned daily.
just a small thing but the bed was extremely high up as 2 mattresses seemed to be placed on top of each other so a little hard to get into 😂 toilet clogged on the last morning. otherwise a great stay

An amazing find in the heart of a great neighborhood outside the hustle and bustle of Midtown and the Theater District. nice building, cute rooms, a great neighborhood, and most of all the incredible and accommodating staff who go out of the way for you! Vincent took great care of us and he and the rest of the staff made us feel right at home.
No elevator. but that’s the NYC brownstone, it’s part of the charm.

Great location in Greenwich Village, old building with nice charm, nothing super fancy but for the price and area it can't be beat! Staff and checking was great as well!
Basement room entrance is a bit tricky, but nothing to complain about!

It was a lovely, old hotel The staff were so helpful and friendly!
Nothing. Everything was great!

Excellent location in part of the city we haven't stayed before. Booked 3 rooms for 6 people. Quirky property, overall good with a few areas to improve.
One room was in the basement, I did not stay in this room however would not have wanted to. No windows, cluttered, really a storage room at best. One room was never serviced by housekeeping (however did say to my friend this was their fault as they did not raise this with housekeeping). My room was cleaned daily.

Staff was exceptional and very flexible. It’s a small boutique hotel where they know you and know your name. Each room has its own kitchen and the upper rooms are very comfortable. Location is great.
The air conditioners are a little loud.

We arrived there and it was nothing like the images on the website. Poor state of repair, very shabby and rickety furniture and the room smelt of smoke. We decided not to stay but we had given our credit card and paid when we arrived. The gentleman in reception said he spoke to the owner and they will refund and I am worried they won't. We will let you know if they don't. It is truly nothing like the beautiful images on the website. It is a place in poor state that is not worth the sizeable prices. The gentleman in reception was perfectly pleasant but very relaxed and watched us heave my daughters heavy bag down to the basement to our room having said we should take it with us and then we had to drag it all the way back up as her room was through a whole different entrance further down the street. By the time we reached this entrance the gentleman had forgotten her entry code and one look at the dingy stairwell with building materials made me decide we would not stay.

The Garden room is lovely with a lived in but clean feel. It's not a conventional hotel space - it's more like the guest room in your favourite family house
The TV was odd, based around ROKU rather than just standard channels so this Brit got confused. Happens a lot.

I was in a musty room two floors below street level in the basement. When I arrived, the beds were not made up, the bathroom was not cleaned, and there were glasses of wine on the counter. The staff was nice, but I felt very uncomfortable having them put sheets on the bed so I ended up making my own bed (very upset I spent so much money on this room)— there was no ventilation and the dehumidifier in the corner of the room, would not be warmer than 60. I had no comforter so I spent the night shaking, freezing and curled up in a ball. it was awful.

Location excellent. Lots of places to eat close by. Staff very helpful especially Vincent who was extremely helpful.
Liked everything. Stairs are narrow and steep but it is an old property so to be expected.

Charming room in a historic building. Great location. Allowed for an early check-in and held my bags after check-out as well. Nice staff too.
Room was colder but Vincent brought me a duvet. Know there are narrow stairs to the upper floors if this matters to you.

The location was fantastic! 5 minute walk to Chelsea markets! Cafes and shops are super close.
Room itself had nice tall ceilings, tasteful artwork and drapes.
The room was very small and could only fit a double bed. not much space for luggage. By the time I unpacked my suitcase and stowed my luggage in the wardrobe space it was difficult to open the fridge and almost impossible to use the coffee/ tea facilities provided. There wasn’t any desk either or space to work on a laptop so don’t book if this is a work trip.

Location great
Facilities in the room , tired and in some cases broken and needed to be fixed whilst there.

Perfect location and such a great price for that part of the city. However, the hotel has paper thin walls and I could hear the other guests all night. Check in was a bit difficult because there is no front reception desk.

The staff is marvelous but they are difficult to reach. Rarely does anyone answer the phone. On the day of arrival I waited almost 20 mins in the freezing cold, ringing, knocking on the door and calling on the phone, but to no avail. The woman there was probably cleaning in a room. Vincent would put a sunny touch to your day!

Staff was great, very helpful and friendly! Location was perfect, walking distance to lots of restaurants and the subway. It's a quirky old place, just as described. If you want some place besides a cookie cutter chain hotel, I recommend the Incentra.
Being an old building, the heat for the entire building is manually controlled in the parlor. It was pretty warm the first night, but the manager turned it down and it was better.
