The property was perfect for our family of 3!! it was cozy and well kept. We loved being able to roam the property and enjoy the nearby stream! The location was perfect!

We loved everything. You could provide alittle more history on the property and information on where its okay to walk around once on property. We loved walking around however I was always alittle cautious if we were actually allowed. It’s such a beautiful space.

Beautiful cabin! Big enough for a couple to have a cozy night.

Walk and drive up is a bit steep but we were in the mountains after all.

Excellent location to visit Boone, Blowing Rock and Banner Elk. Friendly and responsive owner.

Nothing-loved the place. I would recommend prospective customers read the reviews so they understand the Nut House Cabin does have an 85 step path (gravel with about a grade of 8) that you have to walk up. It was a great workout and easy for anyone in decent shape.

WiFi, coffee maker, clean, comfortable bed, futon available although we did not need to use it

Pillows were quite hard, no variety only memory foam pillows, shower was a 3x3’ hard to move around in; the shower head was hardly adjustable. I’m 5’0’ and water hit me & the kids in the face every time. Access to loft area was via attic pull down metal stairs. Cord to reach pull was too short, no step stool available to use; had to stand on the end of the bed to reach it. Would have preferred permanent stairs. Wrought iron railing upstairs was loose, potential safety hazard.
