I loved the location being by the water, the staff was nice, and breakfast was delicious.
My room I woke up with bites all over me (that first started Monday morning (those bites now a week later still itch and have been keeping me up) and the bed was sooooo uncomfortable it was like you were sleeping or laying on the bed springs. For the price I would think the beds would be way more comfortable.

Perfect location, short drive to many things. Clean room, beds were very comfortable and breakfast was good, many options.
I don't have anything bad against our stay. I guess what caught our attention was the powerful smell of chlorine while in the pool area ( this is probably a personal preference thing) and then again (personal preference) the towel rack was in a poor place in my opinion. But honestly over all this was a great stay and we'd go again.

This place is awesome; loved our room, the jacuzzi, the staff, and the morning breakfast. The best , most varied continental breakfast we've had. Our compliments to the chef. It was cozy, beautiful, and professional. We will definitely return

We had large room with balcony overlooking the harbour. Quiet and warm.
Bedding and valance creased, looked as if it hadn’t been changed. Breakfast poor, processed food, self service area cramped . Plastic cutlery and cups, paper plates.

Whole hotel from lobby to room to car park and play area was very clean.
All staff I encountered, desk, breakfast, cleaners were attentive and very pleasantly mannered.
Room was well appointed. Harbour view was a delightful addition worth the extra room rate.
No restaurant was a disadvantage altho there's several very good places within 15 mins walk, that's not always suitable with Minnesota weather.
Obviously the location (waterfront) drives the price up, to book a room without the view I feel would be expensive given that there was only $40 difference at the time we stayed.
