Spacious room, very clean and comfortable.
The decor was dated and definitely not fancy.

Nothing special about the breakfast but the air conditioner did not work right in the room that's why you didn't get a perfect rating

Great value! The rooms were larger and updated more than I was expecting. Extremely clean
If I have to find something I dont like, I guess it would be the lack of late check out (but again, for the price it was really not a big deal)

I didn’t know about a beeakfast
No coffee pot in room.
Flies in the room. Borrowed fly swatter and killed a dozen but there were still a couple left to bother me.

Conveniently located near campus and several restaurants. Proximity to the interstate. Large rooms. A/C and a small but serviceable breakfast offering. I stayed here while passing through on a long road trip and would book this hotel again if needed.
The breakfast buffet selection is a bit lacking, but I still found it suitable for a quick bite to start the day. It gets the job done and no complaints.

the location was good far enough not to get road noice. bed was comfortable.
the wall thermostat on the wall didn’t work and there was no note to say to use the one in the window. but once we figured that out was good

Charge an extra $25 cash only "deposit" that you do not get back. Staff, except the maid was very rude.

The room was clean. The bed and loveseat were both quite comfortable. I’m glad I chose to stay here. The motel was a big reason that my stay in Eau Claire was so great

Location
That the manager/owner of the hotel kept the deposit because he said they're was fried chicken crumbs smashed into the carpet and he'd have to get a special vacuum to clean it! Funny because there were blood stains on the sheets of the bed. Wonder if he charged the people who stained the sheets for a special washing machine to NOT get it out!

This hotel is located close to a gas station and the revving vehicles made it impossible to sleep. My son had planned to stay for the week and we had to move him out after two days due to the loud noise from the gas station. This was no fault of the hotel itself but just of the surroundings. Very sad.
