The breakfast was delicious. Bed was comfortable.

Clean and great breakfast. The pool, hot tub and sauna were awesome.
Was given that had a shower that accommodated a wheel chair and the water went everywhere on the bathroom floor and had to use all the towels to dry it because I didn’t want to slip on the wet tile floor.
Also I decided to stay a second night and they wouldn’t allow me the same rate I paid thru Booking. Same room, never removed my belongings but manager said corporate wouldn’t allow me to extend my reservation (even though the room was available) and charged me a higher rate. To me, that was pure greed.

Everything was super clean. Room VERY comfortable. Pretty, bright, and newish contemporary furnishings, mattresses with dreamy pillow top-like feel - as comfortable as my Sleep Number bed at home. 4 pillows/bed, choice of soft or firm. And the sheets!!! Like whipped cream smooth. Bathroom was immaculate. Chaise lounge-like side chair with a fabulous reading lamp over it, big windows that actually open, Kuerig coffee maker in the room. Breakfast was good, nice selection, pancake machine was fun. Sugar free syrup offering was a nice surprise.
Booking.com price was cheaper than going directly to Holiday inn Express. Would have preferred to stick with HIE site. Disappointed with the current cancellation policy. 2 years ago we stayed at a HIE in Madison Wisconsin for a biking getaway. Cancelled our 2nd night due to poor weather at no extra cost, pretty sure it was because we'd signed up for a loyalty club membership.

Pancake maker was a huge hit for our granddaughter! Breakfast yummy! Pillows amazing! Pool fun! Staff very friendly! Beds super comfy! We loved our stay!!!

Almost everything!! Breakfast was amazing!! Hot and fresh. Didn't feel like it was warmed up from boxes. Fruit was fresh super awesome about the 1 minute pancake maker makes me want to buy one now.
The only complaints I have are in the pool there was a lot of clumps of hair, and needed cleaned/repaint. Same with hot tub. Hot tub timer also controlled pool jets which was cool until other guests shut off. Hot tub did get very hot and was making bubbles.

Breakfast was good and that’s about it
TV didn’t work. They didn’t clean the room when we were gone all day. When I called and asked why it wasn’t cleaned, they said it was because we personally didn’t request it because of “covid”, even though there was a maid in the hallway when we left. The sheets were dirty. And my 10 year old daughter sliced her foot open in the hot tub. Staff did nothing about it and also didn’t have a first aid kit on sight.

front desk lady was so nice and sweet. we stayed here because we knew it was an updated Holiday Inn express.
stayed in the whirlpool suite. ended up a bad choice as it was super noisy with the elevator across the hall , the AC units were extremely loud going off and on, and the room above us decided to have a jumping party about 1130 pm.
