Not enough parking They don't make bed every day unless requested Even when they make the bed they put very little attention to it. They don't even stretch the sheets or fluff the pillows Attendants at front desk give you an attitude when you request to get bed made and towels changed

Location Staff Amenities

The location was great. It was conveniently located near the university. Also, some of the staff were very kind and aimed to be as accommodating as possible. That included the general manager.

There was a young man working at the front desk when I arrived. He said it was his first day. He was kind, but he was struggling to check us in. The young lady working with him wasn’t very helpful. Later, I tried to use the hairdryer in my room, but it was broken. I asked her if she could replace it. She told me that housekeeping would have to do it, but I would have to wait until morning. It was about 8:00pm. I had an important appointment in the morning, so I wanted to get my hair dry. I found it frustrating that she wasn’t able to find a different dryer in a vacant room, especially given the price I paid for the room. The young man searched for another dryer all over the hotel and wasn’t sure which key to use for each closet. I felt sorry for him because he was trying to help me, but didn’t know how. Later, he was able to get one from a vacant room and brought it to me. Yet, this was much later in the night. This young lady had a negative attitude with a few other guests.

Bloomingtonの中心に位置し、食事や買い物に便利でした。 施設内の清掃は行き届いており、部屋も大変清潔で気持ちよく過ごすことができました。 朝食もおいしく、気持ちよく仕事を進めることができました。

特に問題はありませんでした。 またBloomingtonを訪問する機会があれば、利用したいと思います。

Odd front desk staff, walls a bit thin, expensive

Room, pool and breakfast were good.

The TV only had one channel available, an ESPN Channel due to "technical problems". A few people in the elevator stated that they had stayed at the same hotel location before, and there was the same problem with the TV channels per the staff. There should have been some compensation offered for the inconvenience the whole weekend.

Breakfast was good with many options. Friendly staff.

Property could use a spruce up. Carpets in halls and rooms had prominent stains, some damaged wallpaper in hallway. The staff must not pay too much attention to routine maintenance. One bulb in room chandelier was out, phone handset needed a new battery, bedding (mattress/pillows) on the verge of uncomfortable, bathroom towels getting a bit thin. Had trouble getting into the pool area, lock did not work with room key. A power surge the day before we arrived caused the cable to go out, so no TV during our 3 day stay. Parking fee at hotel was a bit on the higher end, especially for the room rate. Was looking forward to for a bit more upscale experience since this was a getaway weekend. Could have stayed elsewhere for less with a similar level facility. Location was good near IU campus.
