It was neat and clean. Perfect location for what we were there for.

Everything was ok.

We left too early to enjoy the breakfast that was offered. The bedroom and bathroom were both very clean, and it was obvious that the owners took pride in their lodge. There were usb plugs on each nightstand for phone charging. The bed was very comfortable and the mattress felt new, not all old and saggy. Our room had a mini fridge which was great for doggie bags from dinner. There were brand new dressers on the walk outside the doors, and when I asked I was told that they were updating the rooms. That's a great sign.

The carpet must be as old as the lodge, which made me feel just a little bit germaphobic. We didn't feel comfortable walking around without wearing slippers or something on our feet. Please consider updating it. Also, although there was a spot for it, there was no microwave which would have been helpful. The window blinds in the bathroom were broken, but still provided privacy. None of these negatives were of enough importance to say we'd never come back. We'll definitely consider another stay here the next time we come to NJ.

It's a great motel and probably one of the cleanest places I have stayed at in some time. The staff is amiable and offers a complimentary, simple breakfast. The motel also has a small swimming pool with sun chairs.

Easy to park, pool was very nice, bathroom had a lot of room.

No shelves in the bathroom near the sink to keep toothpaste, brush, etc. Had to balance shampoo, razor, etc on safety bars in shower area.

Very clean room and facility. Many restaurants near the hotel. Friendly staff.

Clean, comfortable, and convenient!

It was my first time staying here and it will become my permanent staycation place. It was refreshing to know that after a long day at the beach I can return to a quiet, lovely hotel to chill. I stayed in the king bedroom. Excellent!!! They had a great pool, and the staff, friendly and courteous. Can't wait to return to the shore.

Location was great and easy check in.

Basic cable only, bathroom sink sluggish draining, clanking heater all night, outside door missing portion of door threshold letting in cold air.
