Breakfast location was great. I lost my hubby one year ago and I was reluctant about traveling alone but the staff was wonderful and I explained I was alone and they sat me at what I thing is the best seat in the dining room. I certainly miss my spouse but I felt so comfortable that I booked another weekend in early April.

The Kitchen staff started to play loud music any 7am on a Sunday morning, and my room was just above it. Needless to say, I couldn't sleep until I got out of bed and went downstairs and complained, as there was no answer to the front desk phone line. I had a much higher expectation over the Sunday brunch. Although there was a large variety of dishes, they were nothing to make me remember it. Just average food.

We loved everything about Stafford's. Food was great. The staff were so friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed.

Location and charm. Excellent breakfast with white linen service.

We loved meeting several couples on the porch on a rainy night. In the rocking chairs meeting new friends for life. Ended up enjoying a day together with one of the couples at Mackinac Island. Then another day with another couple by driving to their home in Wisconsin fro their invitation. Friends now for life with two of the couples from a rainy night that kept many at the Stafford's Inn on the porch enjoying conversations from people from any different walks in life.

Enjoyable breakfast and the staff were excellent. The breakfast was warm and served on warm plates.
