No complaints here. My room, as well as the entire property, was gorgeous and breakfast was superb. The proprietors couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful. Highly recommended!

Excellent breakfast which we were requested to select in advance, by telephone with the innkeeper, unusual but ensuring that we had just what we wanted. The room was quiet and we slept great; we were the only guests in the house that night. Jean and George were extremely friendly and conversational, a pleasure to meet them.

The location was great for exploring Boston and Cape Cod. The breakfast was also great.

Lovely and generous hosts! Beautiful home, grounds, garden area and patio. Excellent amenities. Perfect location ! Close to everything and yet far enough to enjoy peace and quiet. Thank you very much Jean, George and Carol Ann!

we have been traveling for about a week and this is the best place we stayed in this trip. Everything was perfect- the venue, the rooms and the breakfast. The breakfast was beautiful and tasty, Above all, the owners, Jean and George were wonderful and helpful. When we asked for tomatoes Jean ran to the garden and picked fresh ones,,,We will be back!!

George and Jean were very kind, fun and fascinating to talk with. All the rooms were artistically decorated. I often felt like I was living in a Newport mansion during the 18th Century. During my 4 day stay I chose to sample two different suites. The beds at Silver Shells were both fabulous and so were all the meals. Jean made amazing soup, muffins and superb French coffee during my stay. The price of $99 per night is an exceptional value. I plan to return next summer so I can enjoy the picturesque 3 acres graced with lovely trees, old stone walls and a small orchard. Marion is a charming village near Buzzards Bay. George is a true gentleman and a wonderful tour guide.

Every aspect of this unique place is very special. The rooms, the ground around the house. Exceptional hospitality very tasty and nutritious breakfast.
