A spotless hotel in all regards

The hotel itself looked nice at least...
A bit of a rant but want to get this out there! We were traveling 5 hours, we choose this hotel for the pool and our 4 yr old and 2 yr old were so excited since they don't normally have access to a pool. Our car broke down on the way there and we unfortunately were not able to make it to our reservation. We were able to make it there by midday the next day, we did not ask for a refund as I understand the circumstances were out of there control. But we did ask if we could at least use the pool for a bit with the kids and we were turned away. The kids were beyond devastated and the hotel clerk was also extremely rude about the situation. After the long ordeal we had just went through to make it there, she just treated us as if we were lying dirt. I will never give money to this hotel again and I hope people see this and also avoid this hotel.

Easy to get to, updated facilities, bed was pretty comfortable. Nice breakfast in the a.m. Biscuits were fluffy and fresh. Would stay again.

Very clean and spacious
It was all good except the a/c unit was very noisy and they knew about it. Should be replaced. Couldn’t sleep. Felt safe and secure.

The rooms were comfy and clean. The gym and pool were nice, too. Not much around here, but a decent stopover hotel on your way somewhere (e.g., OBX).
The time schedule was consistently 1hr or so earlier than most places (e.g., breakfast ends at 9AM and check-out is at 11).

I loved everything, staff very friendly
Not enough breakfast was prepared. It was a sold out facility and at 9am breakfast was very limited to just muffins and staff stated they were not cooking anything else and there was an hour left for breakfast on a Sunday morning.

I had reserved a king size bed a month ago and received confirmation when I called. When I checked in there was no record of my king and had me in a two queen. It was ok , but still a mistake or change in my reservation without notifying me.
