Breakfast was fabulous. My only complaint is the lack of air conditioning. It was very hot when we were there. The big fan was ok, but we needed A/C.

Great hotel, friendly staff, the only thing that could be improved was the breakfast. Too simple for the price.

Bed was too soft and pillow much too high. Did have pillow replaced after first day though, but still a bit high.

There could have been a fridge in the room.

Ivana and Marisa were wonderful along with all the staff. I wish I had all their names.

Good location in Liestal. Few minutes walk to railway station + got a free pass in Basel Land. Very friendly staff.

It is quite old and would be great to make a renovation there.

Comfortable, Staff were friendly and helpful, and more than made up for the negatives mentioned bellow. Good breakfasts. Very nice restaurant. Easy free parking. Within easy reach of Basel, but without the hassle and stress of the Big City.

A little lacking in cosiness, although that had more to do with the architect's love of concrete than the staff or management. One of our party had problems with their electronic door key which had to be replaced more than once. On one such occasion we found that there were no night-staff (which was disconcerting in itself) and had to call a helpline from the reception desk. Also, visitors to Switzerland should be advised that their plugs and usb connections might not fit Swiss sockets.
