I really liked the Christian spirit of my host (Mary Beth)! I liked that the property was so open and spacious, in the country, yet easily accessible to town. I loved the fact that the Carriage House offered amenities of home! Such as the kitchen with everything needed.

The stay was excellent. I had privacy, and a personal guard dog named gizmo. I had no worries because he was always on watch. I had a remote for the gate, and the view at night was awesome from the second floor private balcony. Mary Beth and Kirby were warm and friendly. Everything I needed was there, including INTERNET. I left Texas 6 years ago. Staying at the Carriage House was just like being back home. If you like openness and a place in the country - put up your feet at the Carriage House.

Breakfast was not included...The location was exceptional!...It was very quiet & peaceful...The owners, Kirby & Mary Beth Doud were some of the nicest people that we have ever had the privilege of meeting!...Such great hospitality, welcoming & going out of their way to invite us back, giving us their personal business card and requesting we call on their private line for reservations for our next stay!...The Carriage House Of Canton is more like a cottage with a country like setting and is only about three miles out from where The First Monday Trade Days is...We loved it!...Perfect get away to enjoy peace and relaxation much needed after shopping the Trade Days uptown Canton!

Our stay was everything we could have asked for!...The ONLY thing that was taxing on my husband and his brother were the stairs!...They both have bad backs with previous surgeries and it was difficult for them going up and down them...Our stay would have been perfect if only there had been an elevator!... But they took it slow & made it! We really enjoyed our stay!
