This historic home did not disappoint. Timely, thorough communication.

The coffee was hard to find and to difficult to try to make a cup. A keireg would be perfect.
Again the breakfast. I dont want to cook when vacationing.

Loved our stay at the location. My child was fascinated with every corner of the house. The room was spacious and had great books available. The kitchen had the items necessary for any breakfast you were in the mood for. Our last day we made pancakes for breakfast. The host was so kind and patient with us and quick to respond.

The kitchen was very accessible. It was fully stocked, and easy to find everything. We made our own eggs! Bonus, there were donuts :) We LOVED how the property was furnished and deorated. Truly a step back in time!
The Crown Room uses the bathroom down the hall, which was very nice, and was dedicated to just the Crown room. No complaints, we'd just book earlier next time to grab a suite :)

It was a beautiful home with the owners were around to visit with. They told us the story of the home and what they were doing to continue the work on the home. We met other people staying at the B & B and really enjoyed being able to visit with them. Our room was comfortable with seating, king bed and a walkout porch off our room. Breakfast time was on your own, there was all types of food throughout the kitchen you could warm up or make on your own. We are planning on coming back and telling other friends about it.
The only thing that is a negative was if you are unable to do steps the bedrooms are on the second floor.

A beautiful home if you are into Victorian furnishings. It is evident that the owners take great pride in it. Very comfortable beds.
I never met the onsite staff. It's a shame because I had many questions about the home, its history, etc. Also, a critique about pricing. If a $30 cleaning fee is routinely added to the cost of the room, please build it into the pricing structure.

The furniture was all very impressive. Fellow guests were thoughtful of each other. We enjoyed talking with the others when we gathered in the kitchen. There were plants everywhere. The stay was exactly as described in the listing.

The breakfast selections. The cozy, comfortable bed.
I am an older woman so it was difficult to carry my luggage upstairs. No TV in the room. no glass in bathroom to facilitate tooth brushing or drinking water.

Wonderful breakfast selection; unique style and character; good location relative to downtown/commercial districts. Felt like it's own mini-museum collection.
Best: Easy access to museums!
Heavily scented atmosphere felt thick and meant we were unable to enjoy the downstairs as much as we would have liked. Migraine-havers, fair warning.

Nice historical site.
Staff was a bit unpleasant, especially upon arrival. Simply, not a good hostess. Staff upstairs was pretty load and inconsiderate in the late hours.

Great location! Bed was extremely comfortable. Bathroom was exquisite..
Lincoln room is closest to creaky stairs; learned that the hard way haha! Thank goodness I sleep like the dead.

This experience was definitely different than any B&B I had stayed in before. The room (Benjamin, I think), was very nice. The bed was very comfortable. The air conditioner was working and kept the room cool. The towels were plush. I did not eat breakfast so am unsure how that works.
The front door was stuck and eventually someone came and helped open it. In the morning, 8 am when I left, all lights were out. No one was up. I had to navigate the stairs in the dark (raining outside). As I left in my car, I saw the hostess open the door to let her dog out. Would recommend lights going on in the am at a certain time for guests as breakfast is available from 5 am on. Other than that, a great experience.

Very individual place with comfortable furniture. It’s equipped with a lot of antique accessories all around the place. Shared kitchen can be used any time. Friendly owner
Doors were a little hard to open

I loved the Emma room with the cute yellow bath tub and private/connected bathroom. Great kitchen stocked with everything I needed to make a good breakfast. I stayed here instead of a hotel and I’m so glad I did!
street parking if I had to pick something but really no big deal!

it was wonderful, we didn’t even see anyone most of the time, but when we did she was great.. the food was full of food, we cooked some ham eggs and English muffins for breakfast, so much more to choose from.. we got to take a tour of the entire mansion, it’s really beautiful and they’ve takin so much time and effort to rebuild a huge place like that.. anytime I’m in st Joe I’ll definitely stay there.. the Emma room or the Benjamin room seem the nicest both with their own bathes and the Benjamin has an outdoor deck over looking the garden and the carriage house .. and everything was super clean, and the pool table was really nice also.. the history around it and everything near by is really fun to learn also, the patee house is just down the road and Jesse James house isn’t far away either .. we’ll worth the stay!!
everything was perfect!!!

Room was very big and comfortable. Decorating was very good
Floor in the bathroom was sunken in the middle, a little scary. All but two windows were without curtains or shades. Did not feel the sheers provided enough privacy at night or in bathroom.

it was clean, classy, and felt just like home!
